I changed my dial-type hose bibbs over to these ball-valve type hose bibbs at my home. Once you've experienced the ball-valve design, you'll never go back to using the million turn dial-type. These are very well made and should last a very long time. Threading was true and the box came with everything I needed to install, minus the wrench. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.

Fits well on both ends. The shut off valve is great and completely stops the water flow.

Ok, what do you want in a replacement ball valve if you live where "weather" is a concern? You want a SOLID BRASS one first of all, as it is the BEST metal overall to withstand different elements! You want it to have a quality valve that doesn't leak and is "secure" when opening and closing without being "loose". Get one that has a butterfly or lever handle and NOT a "multi turn round" handle. (IMO)Now read the above paragraph again and every point above that is BEST, IS THIS product!Solid brass (Heavy) with a wide "secure closing opening" ball valve, 1/4 turn butterfly handle (Slightly "stiff" but that is actually good as it means the ball valve is "tight" so you aren't going to have leaks! Which is why I got this one to replace one that is leaking!) As mentioned, I got this one to replace an outdoor valve that had a "drip leak". Getting the old one off was difficult because it was "painted" several times by the previous owner. The threads on this new one were excellent so I was able to actually use the "old" pipe connection easily. This is definitely a quality piece of plumbing, not some cheaply manufactured "knockoff" IMO.

I have an assortment of faucets/hose bibbs in my pasture area. I needed to add a new water station so ordered this faucet. It is definitely heavy duty as the listing says. Quite a bit heavier than the comparable faucet purchased last year at a big box store. I am in the south so only have to worry about one or two hard freezes a year, but I am confident that this faucet would hold up even in colder climates. It screwed into my 3/4 PVC fitting with no problem and I appreciate that the seller even included a small roll of threadlock tape. This faucet is currently on sale but even at the regular price of $16.99 it is competitively priced and I would definitely recommend!

3/20/25 This review is for Brass Ball Valve Full Flow Male Hose Bibb 3/4" Male NPT inlet Connection with 3/4" GHT water hose outlet Heavy-Brass Faucet for gardens and patios (Butterfly Handle). We had a brass hose outlet fail on the faucet out by our garden. One thing we noted when we received this one was how much heavier it is that the one we are replacing. It also utilizes a ball valve to seal it, so hopefully no more leaking like the previous one. The butterfly handle is plastic, although heavy duty and is easy to turn. It fit our 3/4" PVC as promised. At $16.99, it is fairly priced compared to similar heavier duty products. We are ready for spring!

This is a well made hose bib - 3/4 NPT to a standard 3/4 GHT hose connection with a ball valve shut off.The ball valve is not a full 3/4" port but I'm using this with a 1/2" hose and its more than enough for that - and likely for most hoses.The ball valve is on the stiff side and has a small handle - not as easy to turn as valves with a longer lever style handle - in this case, its exactly what I wanted - smaller and less likely to be caught by something and accidentally turned on - its on a mobile storage tank.Threaded NPT side fit up fine without any leaks and the hose side worked with our garden hoses - so no issuesSeems like a quality fitting and is working fine.

This solid brass hardware is built for life. It’s quite heavy and the flow valve turns easily. I don’t usually like the butterfly valves because they always seem too small to grab and hard to turn. Not this one, the butterfly handles are thick and turn easily, good handles to grab onto. This one is user friendly.This spigot will take the summer sun and winters cold for many years to come. A rock solid product, bored well with even threads. No leaks.
