This is my second time buying this kit. I use them as drain valves in plastic drums to reclaim water from basement and garage dehumidifiers. It's a great way to have a large amount of easy access water available that is literally pulled from the air. Valve works prefectly, and the seals seal it all up nice and tight.

Hopefully this will end having to replace the plastic spigot on our rain barrel every few years. Wasn’t too bad to install and works well although the water doesn’t flow through it fast as the plastic versions.

Easy to install with a hole saw bit. Good quality, hold up well and the main thing is they don’t leak. Highly recommend, have bought 3

It's a great improvement over the original spigot that came with the rail barrel. Easy to operate and great water flow.

We used this to setup a watering system for chickens. Works great and we might order another one for a water barrel.

I used this valve on a plastic rain barrel, and it works perfectly. It does not leak, and is very easy to use. I definitely would purchase this item again.

Was looking for something to melt a little snow. We get tons of the stuff. So I decided to make a rain barrel. The rubber trash can was given to me. So I purchased this item. I used an 1” hole drill bit. Then I placed one of the provided white washers on the receptacle (the long brass threaded piece) and gently screwed it through from the inside of the trash bin so the washer pressed up against the inside of the bin while the threads come sticking outside. Secondly, I then put the second washer onto the threads sticking outside of the trash bin so this washer gets pressed up against the outside wall of the bin and hand tightened the provided brass nut. Thirdly, I put the provided plumbers white tape on the provided spigot threads and hand tightened the spigot into the threaded receptacle. Lastly used an adjustable wrench to tightened everything. Very simple. Please note that the picture showing the inside is reflecting the washer and the receptacle flat end. Looks like two but only one. Also, my bin has soft walls so I took care not to over tightened the nut. Hopes this helps. No leaks!!! Very happy on how this project came out. All parts where included as advertised! All quality brass parts.
