I was really excited when I saw the window box brackets. I bought some metal flower boxes years ago and there wasn't any way to hang them. These brackets are even better than anticipated. They are really solid. I love the fact that I can adjust the brackets to fit so many sizes. This was a great find and buy.

I built a little structure on the front part of my raised beds and then screwed these in to place. Now, I have a spot for my spices and other small herbs.

You could make your own window planter box and use these to mount it. They are WAY adjustable, and very easy to install! They are strong enough for whatever you can throw on them... It really depends on how strong the material or frame is to which you are mounting them. The hard, powder-finish surface ensures that they will last a long time! I highly recommend these; my wife LOVES them, too! (We have separate plant boxes, and when she saw these, she just HAD to have them!)So, the moral of the story is....GET 'EM!!!

These seem heavy duty as one might like in a bracket array like this. I will likely wait until spring at this point to install/use.

Wow are these breckets heavy and sturdy! No flimsiness here. The brackets come with all the hardware you need to install them and they adjust to the depth of your planter box easily. The matte finish is an elegant touch that won't detract from the plantings or look cheap. What I really like is that compared to my old brackets (see picture with my hand), these wrap up around the planter box to keep it from slipping off. My thumb is placed at the top of my old brackets, showing that they didn't wrap around much of the planter's bottom and I actually had to wire them to keep them from slipping off. These are so much better and none of that hassle. It's not thin metal that will bend under weight either. Highly recommend.
