Leider funktioniert der MPPT erst ab ca. 20V korrekt, vorher liefert das Gerät praktisch keinen Strom.

I got one of the wind turbine kits (with the "lantern" style blades) and while preparing to install it did a test run. Despite it's label of "1200W" I couldn't get but about 1 amp at ~24V to the battery bank spinning it with a drill (at a speed I'd bet is faster than the wind will keep it at). I wasn't expecting the max 1200W, but at least ~120W and I can't get even half of that. I tried this controller (suspecting the OEM one wasn't accepting the power), but this one didn't do anything different. So I'm not 100% sure everything is working correctly as I'm not happy with the results, but I can't say this is the problem either.This has 3 LEDs, one showing battery connected, one for charging, and one for "Braking" to slow the wind unit (if needed). I never saw the "Brake" LED on in my test, so it confirms that function isn't active. My original controller has 2 LEDs, but no label on them to tell what they show (I assume just battery and charging, but not sure).So I'm not impressed with seeing many reviews of those wind units saying "If they label it as giving you 400 watts, you'll be lucky to see 40 watts" which is proving true (and showing what should be called "false advertising"). I realize factors like needing the good wind to drive it for the max power, but even failing while I drive it with an AC powered drill seems poor. About the only ones with better reviews are ones in the $1000 range, yet even one of them is labeled "400W" but the performance chart with it shows ~12 amps at ~12V charge (which is ~150W). Good luck if you are hoping for something that can do even 50% of what they say.

This item seems to work fine. When my battery bank voltage is up from my solar panels, the brake engages during wind, but lets the turbine spin in the evening when my panels are dormant. So far, so good....
