About this item

  • 【High Quality Solar Charge Controller】 Our Solar Controller Mppt technology is to detect the maximum charging current, not the boost type or the automatic charging of the solar panel voltage. Compared with normal solar charge controller, this MPPT controller could increase efficiency by 10%-30%.
  • 【Multi-function LCD Displays】This controller is 12V/24V automatically adapt, first connect the battery, then connect the solar panels, when you first use it, make sure the battery has enough voltage,so that the controller can recognize the correct battery type.
  • 【Industrial-grade Master Chip】16AD sampling accuracy, temperature Charging current, discharge current accurate real-time display, power generation at a glance.
  • 【Professional After-sale Service】You can contact us if you have any questions, we have the most professional technicians to answer your questions at any time, you don't have to worry about encountering problems that you can't solve, we are always at your service.
  • 【NOTE】This is a compatible MPPT charge controller PWM intelligent / efficient / energy saving. Notcie: not true MPPT ,there is no large transformer coil inside. We offer a 30-days money-back guarantee and 12-month warranty for quality-related issues.

Function: Always keep the battery on fill voltage condition. Reverse Polarity Protection for Battery Reverse Polarity Protection for Solar Panels When the battery voltage is low, the controller will automatically cut off the load from the system. If the voltage of battery is back to normal and the load will restart working. Thunder protection According to the battery voltage grade, the controller can automatically set charge-off voltage, the load-off voltage, the load- restore voltage. (The parameter is default under 25 Degree C condition, locked by the CPU procedure, cannot adjust.) The controller will automatically compensate the temperature of the charging voltage according to the changes of ambient temperature. Package Includes: 1 x MPPT Solar Charge Controller 1 x English User Manual Product Questions: 1. Q: How many watts (W) of solar panels can be connected A: 40A mppt,Maximum 480W for 12V battery system. Maximum 960W for 24V battery system. 2. Q: Does this controller support lithium batteries? A: The controller can be used for lead-acid and lithium batteries. 3. Q: My solar panel is 36V 200W, can I charge 12V battery? A: To charge a 12V battery, the working voltage of the solar panel can be between 17V and 23V(Voc), and for a 24V battery, the working voltage of the solar panel can be between 36V and 46V.(Voc) Please make sure that the working voltage of the power supply and solar panels are within this range. If it is too high, the controller will be damaged. 4. Q: Can the inverter be connected to the load side of the controller? A: Please connect the inverter directly to the battery and not to the load terminal of the controller.

It’s cheap and I knew there was no way it was mppt. In any case it’s a very reliable unit. Accurate voltage

Have 8 awg wire which is good for 40 amps up to 30 ft or something. Had to cut half the strands off to get it into this tiny connector. Connectors too tiny and too close together for 40 amps. Maybe if its 40 amps with 5 ft of wire and you can use a much smaller wire.

Well after I received this and found it didn’t have battery overhead monitor I tried to return. The cost to return was half the price of the items it’s not worth all the work for the minimum return so I will just throw it away

If you just need something quick and easy then this is for you. There's not a lot of complicated interfaces like another controller I used. It's pretty hard to mess this one up. The app is not supported in the US though, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. This matters because it's harder to read your voltage. Because of that I've either not caught my batteries being at a danger level or when I didn't have it mounted before, my solar cables would come off. Also, a really small thing was the screws were pretty hard to twist open. I had to go buy a specific flat head screw driver. Not as simple as any philips. So keep that in mind as well.

I would say it is worth what you pay for it. I have it connected to ma small battery bank for the moment and driving an inverter. I would recommend against using the output terminals to drive the inverter directly. I am using the output to drive a relay that connects the inverter directly to the batteries. This way when the battery gets too low, the controller with turn off the inverter and save the battery. BTW, the instructions are pretty poor.
