The GVB-8-WP is already programmed for your Lead-Acid or Lithium battery, no configuration is necessary and the controller will automatically adapt to your panel.
Potted for any application
IP68 is more than waterproof! The advanced electronics inside the controller are encased in a proprietary potting compound making them ideal for golf-cart and vehicle applications.
Maximum Efficiency
No fans, no aluminum bars, no energy wasted. Each watt available from the solar panel is delivered to the battery instead of turning into heat. It means more efficiency from a smaller controller.

The GVB-8-WP is capable of charging the battery starting with 5 V input (panel voltage)! This feature allows the charge controller to operate in any condition, from bad sun angles to partial shade.
No drained battery

I've been using the lead acid battery version of this controller for years. Just replace six 8v golf car lead acid batteries with a 105ah lith battery with this controller. Charging well right off the bat. The solar panel is a 300+ watt house type panel fitted to car replacing the original Club Car roof.

This was the third controller I bought on an install and the only one that worked as advertised. Even in low light situations, it still is able to deliver a charge. It appears to boost the incoming voltage by quite a bit to continue charging my batteries.Any controller can work in best conditions, this one will give you more charge to your batteries every day. Like adding additional solar panels!
