These have the small tip that I needed. The other transmission circlip pliers I saw all had much wider tips that would not reach into the area I had. The rest of the quality seems good.

Awesome set of snap ring pliers. Use them all the time on John Deere tractor transmissions and rear ends.

I ordered these as cheap home garage lock ring pliers. But they are very good quality, good price, I plan to buy more tools by wilde.

I don't need this tool often. It works alright when I do though. It gets the job done, however the ergonomics aren't great. The spring is a bit soft in my opinion, and the precision at the tip is not as good as I would like.It works well enough for use every few months, however honestly I wish I had saved my money and spent more on a higher quality tool.

A solid, made-in-America tool. Fit and finish not as good as Knipex brand, but much better than most Chinese-made tools. The serrations on the tips should definitely be much sharper, crisper, and more well-defined; as-is, I can easily see it slipping off or failing to grab in some cases. Also, while the tips are aligned with each other, there is sort of a tiny, weird curve to them; this won't affect function per se, but not being exactly aligned with the axis of the handles is sometimes a little disconcerting. I really like the narrowness of the tips; my other pliers in this category have broader tips and, while stronger, don't always fit tight places.

Solid well made set of pliers, in a design you can't find at any retail box store. All for $20. Product works great and is feels of higher quality than the price tag would suggest. Would absolutely buy Wilde tools again.
