I had bought a different adapter a while back, was blinded by a sale and didn’t listen to every article saying to get this one. Will happily admit I was wrong, this thing kicks ass

I bought this to connect my Wii to my smart TV. This adapter is amazing. It is affordable, easy to use and does what it is supposed to. We are back to having sound and full colors on our games. I would definitely recommend this adapter!

Lools better than the standard composite cables. I don't own component cables for wii so i can't compare it to those. But there is a noticeable upgrade in picture quality. I did run into an issue when setting the video output on the wii to 480P. It caused wide dim vertical lines to appear on the screen, but changing it back to 480i solved that issue. The plastic case seems to be held together by its own tension so there may be concerns for durability over time, but i won't be disconnecting or moving it around much.Still, It was the cheapest on Amazon for about 10 bucks and it allows me to connect my wii to my HDMI only TV while providing an increase in image quality. Can't complain, 5 stars from me ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I've read good and bad reviews so I wasn't sure how this would work but got it anyway. At first it didn't seem to work but I figured out on my TV's I had to set the TV to the HDMI input then plug in the converter to the Wii and TV. Once my Samsung connected it's been working since. At first I tried connecting the converter to the Wii and TV then changing the TV to the correct HDMI input but that didn't work. Overall it's working so I'm satisfied with the converter and it looks good on my 75" Samsung 4K TV.

At first I thought because it has a seperate audio output on the unit that for some reason I may have to take an aux cable else where to get audio "which would suck" although after hooking it up with HDMI cable only the video and audio was all together in the HDMI cable.. It improves the sound and picture kn my brand new 4kultra tv. I normally only leave negative reviews although in happy to say this product is working better than exoect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to get the Wii to HDMI accomplished

The product is reasonably priced and really improves image quality. Pretty much a must in terms of convenience and image quality for a modern TV. However, a few have complained that this leaves image quality exactly the same, and personally i wondered if it transmitted audio, given the headphone jack.It does transmit audio over HDMI just fine, im running mine through a receiver without issue.Right after you plug this into your wii, go into settings and screen. The option for 480P will now be available, this is what improves image quality, and it MUST be enabled before you see a difference. I also found that smash bros has an option for sharpening, which looked terrible before, but now really improves image quality.Additionally, I was experiencing pretty sever input lag on my tv, even in game mode with the stock cord. This instantly fixed that issue. Follow the instructions and it's a great product.

Overall I am very pleased with the adapter. I bought it to use with my Wii since I’ve got too many games to just replace for a newer game system and since my new TV doesn’t take RCA inputs, I was left with no other options. The picture quality is good, but I wouldn’t call it great. Remember that the image wasn’t meant to be hi-def so you aren’t going to get an incredible image. You get exactly what you did before you put the adapter into place.Let me reiterate, the adapter works great for what it’s designed to do. DO NOT EXPECT HI-DEF out of any type of adapter unless it’s specifically designed to up convert. For the price you absolutely want to buy THIS adapter.

Our Wii wasn't working. Wasn't sure if it was the Wii or our other converter that needed power to work. I figured for $10 I would take the chance it was our old converter. This one was SO much easier. No power needed. In fact, you don't need the Wii cable at all. Just plugs directly into the back of the Wii and connect your HDMI from there. Works great and well worth the money to get a little bit more enjoyment out of the Wii.
