Flush trim bits use an end bearing to ride an edge and trim your project to the desired project design or template. Made with two flutes and carbide tipped to provide smooth cuts through most materials.

Using to follow a corner template on a router table. Bit works flawlessly. Nice smooth corners. Will cut through wood that is up to 1 1/4” thick. Highly recommend!

The bit slides out when tightened in the collet when my router is running. None of my other router bits do this.

Great investment, one of the best bits I own. Smooth finish and sharp blades.

I was making adirondack chairs using this bit. It seems nice, but I killed it in two days. The bearing seized after a few hours (luckily I have spares). But running it through 1.5" old pine (so solid wood, not the balsa wood you get at the orange and blue stores), burnt it out over two sessions, even running it at the slowest speed on my router.Would I buy it again? Yes. I'd buy a larger one, as this was just barely adequate for the wood I was working on, but at the price, I can afford to run through one for every two chairs and still make a profit. I'm treating these as disposable, and it looks like that approach will work.

Really really nice. I'm sure if I spent twice as much on some fancy pants name brand from the Menards store, they would work exactly the same as these. I had one of those cheap yellow Flush Trim bits before this one and that left a groove in all my stuff so I got this and haven't seen a groove since! You could say I've been in a groove with no grooves since I purchased this.

Excellent Whiteside quality. I find the bottom bearing is easier to control than a top bearing. The reason for that is if the router happens to tilt due to user error and half of the base hanging into empty space, then the bottom bearing causes the whole bit to tip *away* from the work. The exact opposite happens with a top bearing, where any tilt causes the cutting edge to gouge into your work. For greater top bearing control, a base extender jig is the way to go.

Whiteside! Whiteside! Whiteside! Please dont ever go away. I dont know what I would do lol. I love these Whiteside router bits and have amassed quite the collection of them. Every time I buy one though I again realize how much I love these bits. I have other router bits like freud which are great, Amana, Infinity, and some CMT bits, but the bulk of my bits are whiteside. I have to say. A lot of people rave over the CMT router bits but I personally dont like them. Anyway the Whiteside bits are my favorite because they are just the Ultimate in Quality. They are machined very well. The smoothest cleanest cuts every time. They offer just about any bit you can think of and they last longer than other bits I have used. They can be pricey though. With router bits the price you are paying is not for how smooth a cut the bit will make. Those cheap chinese made bits like Yoniko will make smooth cuts out of the package. The price you are paying is for longevity. Since I spend a lot of time on the router. I need bits that will keep going and going. Now if you are doing a one time project. Then by all means by those cheap chinese bits. They work and make smooth cuts, but they are throw away bits. One good size project or a few small projects and they are pretty much garbage after that.

Used this bit to trim laminate with a Bosch trim router. The bit performed well, with smooth edges that required only minor sanding. I broke the ball bearing making a pattern later (my fault, not the bit), but replaced it with a $5 bearing from Whiteside and it continues to perform flawlessly.
