The look of the shelf is just what I was looking for. The product itself is 5 stars. However, I gave this 4 stars because the directions weren't clear on how to use the drywall anchors, which would be helpful for someone not well versed in hanging shelving.

I needed a shelf to go under kitchen window for plants. This works perfectly. Not too difficult to install, took me about 30 minutes. Well made.

I've had this shelf for years. I love it! It looks very classy and has held up beautifully. I can't comment on the install process because I had someone put it up for me. He didn't have a problem putting it up but he is handy. I am very happy with this shelf.

Ordered this product for a mantel. Looks very good. Prob could have ordered a smaller size, but definitely is true to size. Holds good and easy to mount.

We have a small brick fireplace that is flush with the wall. We had a large shelf mantle over the fireplace when we moved in but my husband removed it and we were left 'flat'. A full fireplace surround was too costly and my husband doesn't have the time to do one himself so we opted for a ledge, just so we had somewhere to place pictures and hang Christmas stockings. It works well and was easy enough to mount. My husband added some more support because he's paranoid but its held up well through the holiday season with picture frames, candles, decorations and stockings. We don't go over 10 lbs of stuff though. Kind of hard to fit more anyway. It looks nice and clean and crisp, but simplistic. It just spans the length of our fireplace; I would've liked 2-4 inches wider but couldn't find anything like that. Price was good and quality is good so I'm happy, My fireplace looks more finished now.
