I bought these after reading other reviews. I was looking for something as a protection wrap for our patio posts from getting wood rot from the daily moisture from the sprinklers on the grass. They snap together easily. We cut to size using a fine tooth blade on the Sawzall and hand held snips for some detailed cuts. I appreciate the comments from another customer who share he was able to connect the 4"x4" pieces to the 6"x6" to wrap a 4"x6" post. We have 4"x6" posts, and the pieces were interchangeable with no problems. I accept that these a vinyl and probably will not have the longevity of the more expensive PVC post wraps, but it fit my budget. Good product for what I needed.

Update: the wind blew them away. Not the first ones, but the second pair I bought. Sigh. The product is narrower and shorter than for a 4x4 column. It did not even fit my 3.5X4 column. The plastic is very thin. Also it is not fulfilled by Amazon, which means customer is in their own with shipping and return.Update: to make things worse, neither USPS nor UPS want to ship it because it is too long. The good, the bad, and the ugly:Good: They are Ok-looking for an upgrade.BAD: they fall shorter and narrower than website description. At least what they sent to me.The first ones I bought did not measure 96 inches and my posts had both extremes exposed even trying with the caps. Also, my back porch columns are uneven 3.5x4 which should rather give some clearance to close the post wraps. They did not fit even so are smaller in length.Bought the 102 inches to adjust, worked out but funny part is that didn’t measure 102 either. The closing gap was better, but yet painful even so my columns are 3.5x4 and not 4x4. At least I can paint the posts and coat them with cedar oil.The UGLY: I’ve been trying to return the first wraps and the seller says I have to pay the shipping which is near the cost of the posts themselves. We are talking here about losing near 300 bucks. Trying to save money by buying here and it's costing me more than the competitors now with the whole ordeal. This is an item hard to carry around. Several mailers have refuse to ship it back because of its size. You better buy from a vendor with better shipping return and more reliable refund policy or fulfilled by Amazon.I do NOT recommend this product.

This was something I was skeptical on buying but I am glad I did. It turned my boring post into a nice column. It fits as described. Definitely worth the price. Love it!

I was thinking about this product for some time, now I have it and I am happy. I am single women over 50 and have no problem to install it. Easy to measure and cut. To make sure gaps are closed correctly I have used RUBBER MALLET tapping it gently on each side. Nice looking product.

If you get the measurements right, it fits pretty well and was very easy to install. Looks good too. It wrapped a metal post and this really makes the space safe for kids
