Made to fit a rue 4 inch x 4 inch Post
The 4 inch x 4 inch external Gothic cap is made to fit only on a true 4 inch post. It will not fit on a standard wood post, which usually measures 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
The External Gothic post cap provides a simple, clean look to your fence or railing. Plus, it is made of high quality vinyl so you won't have to worry about sanding, painting, or sealing it.
Made in the USA
All of our caps are made in the USA with High quality, durable PVC vinyl. They are UV and water resistant for a lasting look that will never fade. Installation is simple: simply push the cap onto the post. If you would like to secure the cap, use clear silicone made for outdoor use. Do not use vinyl glue or super glue, as you will not be able to remove the cap.

Fit perfect on the end caps. They look great and are a good value. Easy install. Just put on top and push down. They fit snug enough where no glue is needed.

So called 4 x 4 wooden posts are actually 3 5/8” x 3 5/8” inches. This post cap fits the 4” decorative post that covers the wood post. The cap is well made, specs at 4” square interior dimensions, and is of thicker and much more sturdy stuff than my old caps. Nice glossy finish.

The biggest problem with a lot of these post caps is they are made of two pieces and, because where I live it gets cold and dry, the cap splits at the seams. I was so thrilled when I got this one and found it was one solid piece with no seams that will crack. Plus, it fits snugly on the post so I didn't even have to apply a bonding agent to keep it on. Very impressed with this product so far. Will likely buy another one for the other side once that one breaks, which should be any day now. Definitely a great buy!

This arrived in good time, looks great on the fence post and matches the one we had already. It will be interesting to see how it holds up during the winter and in the years to come, but I am expecting it to do well.
