I installed these on 4x4 posts a few months ago. They're easy to install and fit decent on lumber that's been drying for a year.

I was able to apply these easily this summer to the tops of our fence posts. It saves the post from getting water into the wood grain plus looks nice

These are well made, quality aluminum post caps. The finish was uniform and they fit 4"x4" nominal size wood posts (3-1/2" x 3-1/2" actual dimension) with just a little wiggle room. The pre-drilled holes on two opposite sides make them easy to install.

These are the perfect post caps for the deck, especially in the wet Northwest. They are metal and withstand wind and the squirrels do not sit on them. The fit is excellent for a 4 inch post.

When I replaced my wooden deck railing with Fortress aluminum rails I topped the new posts with the Indeckmo Post Caps. They look sharp and keep water out of the end grain of the posts. The posts are a bit under nominal 4x4 sizing at about 3.25x3.25" so these caps fit loosely initially but are firmed up with the attachment screws.
