I originally got this a present maybe 5 years ago when I started drinking loose leaf tea and instantly fell in love. This makes a great cup of tea and is completely spill proof if used correctly. the tea stays warm for hours after it is brewed. The only downfall is if you are a bit lazy in cleaning it out after use, it will start to stain, gaskets might get moldy and the strainer clogs. But again if cleaned out after use, you can keep it nice for years of daily use. I recommend this to everyone I know that drinks loose leaf or likes a fresh pressed coffee. Sadly I have contacted the company to see if they sell replacement parts and they do not ( I had a gasket break due to user error).

The suction when sliding the center either way is superior to any French press I’ve used to date. This mug is ready to go! I personally use it for work with loose-leaf green tea from Numi. I place about a tablespoon of tea on the bottom of the mug, leaving it dry for later use at work. Since the mug is insulated, it also prevents sunlight from damaging the nutrients in the leaves, which would happen if they were left in a sandwich bag or something similar. At work, I make the tea with hot water, steep for 3 minutes, and then use the mug’s compression feature to stop the steeping process. Loose-leaf tea is typically good for 1 or 2 more refills. This mug is just freakin’ awesome! I even wrote to the company to ask if they plan to release a “white” or “cream” color version.

Bought this looking for a 16oz leak proof travel coffee press that is dishwasher friendly. This is not that. The grounds paralyze the plunger, making the process cumbersome. It's also only partially dishwasher safe. I returned it.

Once you lower the screen to the bottom, it really does immediately stop infusing all teas. Even naturally very bitter herbs like skullcap and mugwort are at the correct strength after sitting in the bottom of the infuser for hours. Honestly, I am shocked at how well it isolates your herbs from the water.Cleanup is pretty easy because the leaves come out almost like a damp patty at the bottom of the infuser. There are a fair number of parts needing cleaned however. The filter is very fine, and almost nothing seems to get through, even fluffier herbs or flowers like camomile. The filters must be cleaned from the other side, which requires hand washing. There has never been a problem with smells lingering, again, even from some strong or bitter herbs.I got this for my wife, who is an herbalist, and she couldn't be happier with it. It ticks every box for a best imaginable travel tea infuser for her: separates brilliantly, keeps things hot for hours, gets very clean when washed, very tight gaskets, and a well-designed spill-proof lid.

Positiv war, dass ich die Ware schon nach zwei Tagen hatte. Leider ist der Becher in der falschen Farbe geliefert worden. Bestellt hatte ich rot/Brombeer, geliefert worden ist aber lila. Wenigstens konnte ich das Teil verschenken und einem anderen Menschen eine Freude machen. Ich persönlich bin aber sehr enttäuscht.

This is the best travel mug I have ever used. It feels great in my hands – the weight is just right and it’s well balanced. The lid is secure and doesn’t leak. It’s easy to open and easy to drink from. I like the way the drinking edge feels when I drink. I mainly use this for coffee, so the tea making ability is an extra bonus. Truly, an outstanding travel mug.But that’s JustMe. (I received this product in exchange for an honest review, and that is what I have offered here.)

Best Tea Mug HANDS DOWN!!! I was part of their kick starter campaign and now I was able to get an additional mug HERE for my daughter!!! Brews tea or coffee with no fuss or hassle. Quick and easy. Dishwasher safe. (just make sure you have no big food chunks on yoru other plates of stuff - as the seive may catch these) The water inside stays hot or cold inside FOREVER as they actually claim!!!! WE will not go back to any other brand. GET THIS!!! You will not be disappointed.

It’s a great cup. It keeps everything warm for hours. The capacity is about 8-10 oz. Fits well in car cup holders. It does trap a bit of liquid in the first cylinder. Other than that it’s great!
