I have an SDS plus format impact drill that by default doesn't take standard drill bits. This chuck allowed me to retrofit the SDS format to take the much less expensive bits on the much more robust drill platform. I like the all metal build of the chuck, it feels more solid than my regular drill. It also lets me easily use the 1/4" hex bits that are very common in my shop.

This DID fit my Milwaukee drill! If your drill has the Phillips head screw holding the Chuck this will work. Can't beat the price / quality!

I ordered this for it's 1/2"capacity chuck to replace one of the chucks on my existing drills, which are all 3/8" max capacity. This is a very well made chuck, and looks like a quality product, the materials and workmanship are excellent. The jaws do hold a 1/2" bit, and do not slip on the bits. This only fit one of my three drills though, so it behooves you to take a good look at the listing to see if your chuck is locked in place in the same manner as this one, as it is not a universal fit, and the manufacturer should show more clearly in the listing how this locks in place onto the drill, and maybe even list some popular models of drills it will fit. Fortunately I only needed it to fit one of my drills, so no problem for me there. This did the job for me, and I was able to put some 1/2" holes through some hardwood I was using for a custom cabinet project. Even though the product is very high quality and functions very well, I deducted one star for the uncertain fitment, and I deducted a second star because this took a month to arrive after I ordered it. So really good value for the quality, but sketchy fitment information, and a very long delivery time.

Replaced the chuck on my Porter Cable Battery Drill with this one and it fit like a glove. It didn't come with the retaining screw so be sure and save that when you remove the original chuck. My drill's model number is the PCC 600 and the manufacter's part # for the chuck is DWB-90586194. Whatever models that part number shows it will fit, I am reasonably sure this inexpensive one, $20 less, will as well. This new one feels like it's a high quality part. Limited use so far but can't tell it from the original one except maybe better. Except that it's in 1 piece, LOL!

I bought this to switch out the chuck in my press attachment for my drill. It doesn't fit at all, which is kind of a bummer, but is mostly my fault for assuming it would. From what I can tell about this chuck, it seems like it's good quality and tightens pretty well. Again, I can't fully test it due to my mistake, but I will hold on to this in case I need it for my drills, which seem like this will actually fit.
