Vincita is a Bangkok based cycling bag and accessories company. Our story started differently: when we took our friends' suggestion to start a bag business in 1987, we were not experienced cyclists, but the company has changed slowly and transformed us into one. Our bag ideas originally came from gathering insights from all types of cyclists.
We talked about their lives, their concerns, and ideal products and the result is high-quality bag designs that meet the diverse requirement of cyclists.

Simple straightforward adapter to attach rear rack stays to seat post

I needed this to attach a rear rack on my bike. This one has a larger bolt, thicker material than the original. This will fix 2 issues. One being the bike did not have attachment points for a rack. The other issue is I am a heavier rider and the seat post would slip down over time. Being a heavier made clamp, I was able to finally get enough pinch to keep the seat post from sliding down.

I'm using it on an old Slingshot mtb frame that I use for self-supported off-road touring. The low profile design and solid attachment are really important for me when carrying heavier loads over bumpy off-road trails. I prefer the solid bolts over the quick release designs that stick out and are less secure (I use a torque wrnech to be sure.)

Beautifully made, to replace an ordinary seat tube clamp to provide you with attachment points to fit a rear carrier if your frame has no eyelets. You have to ensure you take accurate measurements of your frame and seat post to get the right size. Also check that your carrier attachment arms will reach the provided eyelets before purchasing at they are the same height as the clamp. Not the cheapest but very good quality.

They have the size of the seat tube correct and that's what I went by, so I was good. But my seat post is the smaller size they have listed while my tube is the larger size. It made it confusing to purchase.I have a Giant Defy and maybe their tube and post sizes are different than normal.I suggest to go with the tube size, not the post like they recommend.

Perfect accessory to complete a rear bike rack install when your bike does not have rear 'lugs' to attach the rack support brackets to.As others have noted, indeed, this bracket does TWO THINGS (well!): 1) It REPLACES the bike's original compression 'clamp' that secures the seat post into the seat tube, 2) It provides the lugs to receive the rack support brackets.High quality build, well done.Remove your seat & seat post from the outer seat tube & carefully measure the OUTSIDE diameter of the TUBE (what the seat POST goes in to!)Convert inches to mm....1" = 25.4MM and order the bracket accordingly!Use proper metric allen/hex wrench to install.Very happy with the product & finished assembly...my rack is not gonna move!Yes, you will need to have an allen/hex wrench handy if you need to later adjust height of seat post in seat tube; but I'm really the only one that rides my bike, so that's not an issue for me.Would buy again!

Purchased the 31.8mm clamp and received it measuring over 35mm. This didn’t fit or function and I had to return it. So bummed. This is what I needed to attach my child’s seat to my bike. I guess I’ll have to hunt for another and continue the wait to get her setup for an outing amidst this ridiculous virus with no where to go. This post clamp would have been a bit of freedom but it wasn’t because it was so poorly made. Even if it did fit, the tapped holes needed to be chamfered and redrilled because the anodizing clogged the threads in the holes. Poor workmanship.
