I think I broke mine. Couldn't install it properly. Couldn't get it to stay ON the seat tube/post. (kept popping OFF the seat tube!!). ... .. . Maybe just me, but i was disappointed with its efficacy.

It fits and clamps down on the seat tube to hold the seat post in place, just like it should.

It works. Feels well made, fits tightly, it's pretty lightweight considering how large it is. I've never had a seatpost clamp with the plastic dust guard on the top. It's interesting....not really necessary for my dry climate road bike but it's well made and does seal the seat tube nicely. It'd be nice to have on a mtb that gets hosed off regularly or something I guess.

I would love to get my money back on this. It worked only one time before it snapped something inside.I put new screws in and it didn't matter. The threads must be to soft of metal. If these were steel it would be better. I just wanted it to clamp and keep my carbon seatpost set.

The extra screw setup sticks out beyond the clamp and it did not seat properly on my Carbon seat tube groove.

I bought this to replace one of those "locking" seatpost clamps that was lost while traveling. I thought that this one, while not "locking", would slow down a thief since it has two bolts. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the machining. It holds my seat post firmly, but does not require ridiculously hard tightening. It's a nicely made product, and I don't regret the extra expense.
