I replaced two of the original speakers with this ( Veteran 30 ) WGS in my 4 x 12 cabinet. I play through a Orange OR120 Overdrive Amp. This was a very sweet match. They can handle any kind of sound that you are searching for from clean to straight Dirty Doom with Distortion or Fuzz. I pushed these speakers at full volume with tons of low end and they handled it with no problem. The delivery was from Stew Max, and super fast. I choose this speaker mainly from reviews here, and they were not wrong. If I ever need another replacement speaker, WGS will be my choice. And Yes Amazon...I love you too :)

Sounds phenomenal. I've had it in for a few months and it's getting better every play. Totally worth the swapUpdate: Ok, it's been about 6 months with the new speaker and I'm catching myself using it more and more. I have some other name brand speakers in another cab but I'm ignoring them.I mostly play 90s-2000s rock, metal, numetal, punk, etc. I'm getting great sound from all of my Fuzz pedals. If you play distorted then you know the nuances can get lost. I can't say enough good about the Veteran 30 speakers from Warehouse Guitar.

In my cabinet these sound very mid heavy in a good way. I have them mixed with vintage 30. I like the Veteran 30 a lot more. I’ll probably end up switching out the Celestion for retro 30 and use the veteran 30. Very high quality speakers. And they are made locally. I’ve tried them with a Marshall jcm 2000 DSL and Peavey 6505+ and even a boss katana head. They all sound great through the veteran 30.

I paired a wgs veteran 30 with a wgs green beret to go along with 2 lower end celestions in a 4x12 Marshall cab, and it's now the best sounding cabinet I've ever had. I considered getting eminence dv77s instead, but these have just a little bit more fullness to their voicing. But man they do crunch! Also made in Kentucky, so buying domestic always makes you feel good.

What a difference between the Jensen speaker in my Fender Hotrod Deluxe and this speaker. It definitely tamed the highs, taking the "nails on the chalkboard" out. I know it'll only get better as I continue to put this Veteran 30 to work. I also have this speaker coupled with the matching extension cabinet with the Celestion G12P-80 speaker. That will definitely be swapped out with another GWS.
