Tightened up the low end the Princeton is known for. Quality product, sounded good right off the bat. Can’t wait to hear what it sounds like when broken in.

First let me say stewart-macdonald maybe the best company in the world. They don't mess around when you order something from them they get right on the stick and expertly package everything and send it to you, as for the speakers I've only had them about 4 hours and they're a lot better than the Jensens I had in my 76 vibrolux,, still have to break them in but they're already cleaner with more mid-range tighter low-end, which is what I wanted anyway,,, and the highs are not as harsh. Overall I like the Jensen special designs tone wise. So for recording they were great but for live trying to play lead guitar and steel guitar through a vibrolux was not going to work. Just had to have more "clean Headroom". So far so good. I'll write another review after they break in.

I've had a Veteran 10 before, but this speaker seems to be better at instant performance. It doesn't require any break-in time to sound right. And it does sound right. It sounds as good or better than a C10R. This is not a budget speaker in quality, it is top shelf.

I bought this speaker to replace the original speaker on my son's 20W Fender Sidekick (mid-80's.) The improvement in sound was amazing. mids and highs were significantly tighter and the sound overall was nice and warm. Highly recommended.
