Customer service is key in any business and Vancasso has been amazing. I have three of their products and I love them for their size and color. The color varieties match my decor beautifully. There were some problems with small chips on the rim of a few of the products. I addressed vancasso on the issues and they came through with solutions immediately with kindness and understanding. I would highly recommend this company.

Cheerful colors, nice shape, well made. I eat a lot of one bowl meals. These are great for retraining portion size perception. Very happy with this purchase, I use them all the time and have had no problems with chips or scratches!

These are great place settings, I got the bowls, plates and love the colors and sizes of the place settings. Wish there were matching platters and the bottom of the place settings are rough and might scratch the table, be careful.

Waanzinnig mooie schaaltjes, samen met de borden sets aangeschaft. Helaas chipt de lak er wel erg makkelijk af, van de twaalf schaaltjes is er geen schaaltje meer die gaaf is gebleven.De borden zijn wat steviger, al zien we dat de meeste ontbijt bordjes ook al zijn beschadigd. Dit zou je niet verwachten van servies in deze prijsklasse.Edit 25-10-2024. Verkoper is met mij in contact getreden en heeft de problemen keurig verholpen. Alle beschadigde schaaltjes zijn netjes vervangen. Alleen om deze keurige afwikkeling en servicegerichtheid de waardering aangepast naar 4:5 sterren. Klasse service!

Overall, I really like these bowls. The colors are vibrant. They're large. The price is reasonable. They seem sturdy so far, though I'm more careful with them than run of the mill dishes.For the minor downsides, they get hotter than other bowls when I use them to heat up food in the microwave. They also have a ridge on the bottom that is unglazed that can get dirty or discolored. I was sad when I put the yellow bowl in the sink on a dish that had tomato sauce on it and found the bottom of the bowl had red stains that were hard to get out. It's on the bottom side of the bowl that makes contact with a table, so it's hardly an issue, but it's something I thought could be designed better that some might like to know before purchasing.

UPDATE BELOW.....I ordered 2 sets of 6 of these bowls. I really loved the colors and thought they'd be perfect to hold food at our make your own taco night. I was SUPER disappointed whey they arrived. One box looks like it was gone through - and revealed the badly chipped orange bowl. The other was a really horrible glaze flaw AND a chip on one of the blue bowls. Soooo disappointed. I would have given them 2 stars, but I will end up ditching the 2 that are chipped. The glaze flaw and chip on the blue bowl in up at the top. Impossible to ignore or miss as it is super rough and looks almost like it's not clean because of the glaze flaw. The colors are brilliant and beautiful. Wish the quality came with that. I cannot recommend these. I feel more confident in saying this too as I did order 2 separate sets and both had broken bowls. I'm always looking for better alternatives to plastic anything. However, remember. You get what you pay for. In this case, junk. They did wash up in the dishwasher, but they are not super heavy so I wonder how long before the chip or show more ceramic flaws. Time will tell. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. These bowls are so pretty! I love the bold colors. I have some dishes in solid yellow and in solid green already and these will coordinate well. They are very well made with a shiny, smooth finish and are a great sturdy weight. Not too heavy for your bowl of soup or food, but not thin and breakable feeling.I honestly cannot tell you how much I love the colors. They are fun and liven up the table. They make ordinary foods look like they belong in a magazine.I have only run them through the dishwasher twice (once when I first opened the box and another time after our first meal with them). They fit in the washer about as well as my other bowls. They do have deep sides (which I really like for bowls) so they might be a bit tricky in some dish racks or fit better on the top rack.They microwave just fine. I am using them for a microwaved snack now as I write this review. They don't get super hot while the food stays cold, they warm up as they should along with the food. I took it straight from the fridge to the microwave and this did not seem to cause any problems. It also says they are freezer safe. I have not put them in the freezer because I don't normally do that with dishes.I think I may buy another set of these to give to my daughter, so I would definitely buy them again and I recommend them to anyone who wants some color in their kitchen!
