The bowls are very nice and will hold a very good portion of broth and noodles while looking pretty much exactly as described. My only complaint is that the chop sticks are so smoothe that they're harder to use. Otherwise fantastic set

I love the color and the shape of these bowls. They hold heat very well, so you’re not burning your hands all the time when you are serving them. The spoons and chopsticks that come with them are delightful and very, very useful. I don’t think I’ve used a fork since these bowls arrived, in fact! We don’t sit at a dining room table to eat so you have to be a little careful not to tip your bowl when you’re walking because they are a tad shallow for jogging or walking briskly. Other than that, they are the perfect bowl and I don’t even know if you need plates when you have these . I served Middle Eastern marinated sliced lamb, loins, and couscous along with some veg in them and they were perfect. You never have to worry about losing a drop of delicious gravy or soup when you just use these. I’ve been looking for matching plates, but now that I am thinking about it I’m just going to order more bowls because they’re perfect for everything. They’re a little big for ice cream or pudding though… 😉
