Great bowls. Beautiful finish and color. So far so good as far as wear and tear is concerned. The size is nice and big for ramen bowls.

These bowls are a decent size and light weight. The design came as advertised. As these are a gift I can’t speak to the use of them. I most likely wouldn’t use the spoons for soup tho.

I absolutely love these bowls. I actually ended up purchasing 2 more. They are the best size for pasta, ramen, cereal, rice dishes, everything. I purchased on a whim to replace others that had cracked. I recommend these bowls and already purchased again. The photos don’t do them justice and the quality is excellent. They are slightly heavier than a standard ramen bowl and super easy to clean! The colors stand out and it doesn’t get so hot you can’t hold eat. 10/10!

I bought two sets of the Hokeler Ceramic Ramen Bowl sets. The bowls are just the right size and weight. I was looking for larger bowls to replace my current Pho bowls, and these bowls are perfect for that purpose. Rugged ceramic and lovely glazes. These bowls are meant to be used at the table, not held in the hand if you are using both spoon and chopsticks.The bowls come in sets of two. They come with chopsticks and long wooden spoons. I haven't tried spoons like these before, so you milage may vary when it comes to using it with noodles. The wood is stained a teak color.I bought a Red set and a blue set.The blue set is beautiful and the glaze and color closely resembles the colors depicted online.The red set is not "red", the color on my set is more on the "terracotta" color scale. It's not enough for me to return the bowls, but I expect the red to be red like crimson or vermillion, but not "orange" (brick red or terracotta).I think the bowls are a perfect depth and width for my purposes. I think they're a good value for the price.

The bowls are a beautiful celadon green on the interior. The exterior is a rough material in white. Not so rough that it hurts, but it will not likely slip thru your fingers. I use them primarily to make instant oatmeal (with milk) in the microwave. If you've ever heated milk in the microwave you know it froths up and boils over if you aren't careful. The shape and size of these bowls means I don't have to worry. They hold just the right amount of milk to make a creamy oatmeal in only 3 or 4 min. While the milk does froth up, it never overflows the bowl. That's their main purpose in my house. They are also great for soup, chili, spaghetti, and anything else I want in a bowl.

They feel weighty and are beautiful to look at. I like the textured exterior. I wish they were a bit larger though but that’s on me. I will keep them and adjust my ramen servings to fit.

I purchased the bowls that are beige on the outside and light green on the inside. The inside is glazed and the outside is a more natural finish with ridges. The bowls are a good size at 40 ounces allowing you to have ample ingredients and fluid without it spilling over the top. The bowls appear to be well made and worked well when I used them for ramen. I washed them in the dishwasher and they held up quite well. The spoons and chopsticks are wood with what appears to be a light coating to possibly make them more waterproof. I'm not sure how waterproof the utensils are so I will probably only use them for drier foods, such as rice. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.
