This rail is a solid piece and made of actual steel instead of the cheap alloy that many others use. It also comes with 2 different size screws to secure it to the gun.

I can only say it works and looks sturdy but I took it off my rifle. The finish is horrible and it looks like it came out of a casting mold with dimples and ridges with a paint finish that doesn't cover the aesthetic imperfections. I just did not want this look on a 900$ plus firearm. At least the sides should have been milled (machined) for appearance.

It fits the model but the tolerances are way off for fitment of scope rings. Not good quality. I suggest you avoid this rail from UTC.

Bolted up to my rem 700 with no issues ( short screws in the front) rock solid. No issues it’s what you would expect.

Great mount for the price rock solid, just make sure the short screws go at the front and the long at the rear.

Abgesehen vom Schreibfehler in der Ueberschrift der Artikelseite, prima Ding! Montiert auf einem Remington 700 Police in .300 WinMag, versieht das Ding seinen Dienst, ohne jeden Zweifel an der Stabilitaet. Wenn man keine Lust hat 300 EUR auszugeben, um dann doch nur eine Schiene ohne Vorneigung zu haben, ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Ein sehr gutes Produkt,massive- solide Ausführung, 100%passend. Lässt sich einfach montieren und einstellen. Die Abstände sind exakt. Ersatzschrauben sind dabei. Insgesamt 6 Stück.

Very heavy duty machined steel NOT aluminum. Fit flawlessly & was over all excellent. Comes with 6 Alan head screws though you only use 4. ( 4 are short. 2 are long) best made base you will own & dirt cheap.

I bought this item for my Rem. 742 30-06. Did not fit the rifle, was the wrong size. However I did buy the 700 short base and work great. Very impressed with the built. Very strong with my auto. Would buy this product again for another rifle. So, remember for the 742 you want the short base not the long. Good luck!!!

At first i was worried that this wouldn't fit my receiver perfectly and would need to be bedded. Fortunately that was not the case and the mount to receiver fit was perfect.Also this mount is steel, heavy, and tall. I love these features, although some of you may not.I have a 50mm objective on my scope and accidentally ordered medium height rings which were way too tall with this base. Low profile rings combined with this base should be perfect for my 50mm scope.P.S. I have a SPS in 30-06 with sporter barrel.
