Attached this to an air rifle that has a 11 mm dovetail but needed a Picatinny Rail. Well made and solid mounting to the dovetail. Highly recommend. In fact buy a few and keep some spares........you will be glad you did!

I needed a mount that would allow me to move a short scope rearward on a .22. This mount fits the 11 mm dovetails and gets the scope back far enough to get the eye relief I need. I am only using two of the three mounting bolts and have had no problems. I like this mount.

Used it on my Gamo Magnum dovetail rail to adapt it to a Picatinny red dot sight. Worked well and was easy to install. Spent a few extra bucks on this name brand one instead of the generic ones, not regretting it.

I was looking for a rail to mount a red dot and voila, here it is. Works great on the carbine. Was very easy to mount and does the job perfectly. Very happy with it.

Using it on a 1322 with a steel breech it tilted on one side initially when installed but after a bit of tinkering and adjusting it is sitting flat is it perfect probably not but it works good enough to hold a RDS. The finish does seem to scratch pretty easily just from sliding the sight on and off. Overall good bang for your buck.

If you make sure the recoil stop is not too far down, it sits perfectly flush .If you make sure the side plate is put in it's upper groove correctly...they clamp like a pit bull.The 3 bolts are LONG, with threads all the way through the body...for a huge amount of thread surface area...for one great lockup.The people who designed this Gen 2 version deserve a raise, it is a great mount/rail....the price is just a huge bonus.

I have purchased many scopes, scope rings, and other mounting hard from UTG, all of which has been excellent. This adapter is no exception. It’s very well made, better than many adapters I’ve seen that cost almost twice as much. The screws are larger and stronger than you’ll find on many similar looking adapters, and the machining is better.

I had previously purchased another brand off Amazon and tried to mount it to my Henry rifle, the fit was horrible, I threw it in the trash. I have had good luck with UTG in the past so I tried this one, it fits splendidly on my Henry rifle. I see comments about it being off-center, mine is not. I think they upgraded it prior to my purchase because it says "new gen". So I mounted a red dot and went to the range. Once I had it sighted in they were all going into the bullseye. I'll take that any day.

As others have stated, this adapter does lean ever so slightly left of perpendicular on my Benjamin Trail NP. I cannot be certain this would be the case for all guns with dovetails, but I can't really see how it would be otherwise. Dovetails are fairly consistent in design and dimensions. Mine being an 11mm, it may be possible that the 9mm leans ever so slightly to the right, and to make this work on both, the design compensates for that? Again, I cannot say. What I can say is this adapter fit on my gun very easily, with the stop pin also lining up and adding additional stability. It appears to be very solid and well constructed. With the slight left lean, windage and elevation adjustments will be ever so slightly more difficult, but once sighted in, I do not anticipate it being even noticeable in the sight picture. I am planning to use this with a SeeAll open sight anyway, so again, I doubt the very slight left lean will have any affect.If you are considering adapting a dovetail to a picatinny rail, I see no reason not to consider this one.

I ordered this to mount on 1 of 2 pellet guns. I have 1 that has a FPS of around 900 with little to no recoil. This mounted was able to be placed on the pellet gun and help very sturdy. After mounting the scope to this mount, I decided that I didn't like it being on that pellet gun so I moved it over to my Crosman nitro piston Diamondback. That one shoots 1400 FPS and has recoil. I sighted the scope back in after mounting it on the Crosman and so far it's held up very nicely. It actually helping with the recoil a little bit too. I've noticed that my scope settings aren't changing as they were before the mount (nothing major but having to adjust your eye relief every other shot gets old fast).It's not plastic and made from metal all the way through. It's makes a nice riser to give me a little more extra room for my scope.

The UTG Dovetail to Picatinny adapter arrived.I have trial fit it on both my air rifle (.177) & air pistol (.22)The machining of the dovetail seems precise.With 3 set screws and a stop pin, it certainly will fit my needs without recoil issues.Nice touches:-The even numbers of the 9 slots on the rail are labeled; making it very convenient for restoring a sight to the original position- In the package with the rail are 2 allen wrenches & 2 spare screws-If careful when opening the plastic/cardboard card pack (remove the 1 staple) it can serve as a storage box for all the partsAll in all the $8.49 including shipping, for me, is money well spent.Once I have put it in use I'll update this review .Please consider no update a sign of satisfaction with the pieceBTWShould any one really care anymore.It is made in China

While the mount fits the dovetail rail nicely, I am rather disappointed by the mere fact that the "Stop-Pin" was positioned too far forward for the stop-pin hole on my Benjamin air rifle. I installed the mount as far back on the dovetail as possible without engaging the cut area that begins to flare out. With the mount in this location, the stop-pin ends up being about 6mm to 8mm too far forward. The only option is to snug the screw down against the receiver and hope it stays put or drill and tap and new screw hole further back in order to make the stop-pin fully functional. Unfortunately drilling a new hole would void the warranty, so I feel that the manufacturer needs to do a better job in their design and workmanship to develop a product that is more functional on a wide range of air rifles.It should also be noted that this rail is a bit on the short side, so there is no room for adjustment of any scope mounts used on the top of this unit.
