It does fit an m70 but looks ridiculous. Too big and sits too high over dust cover.Looks like a metal shop project.

Quick and easy to attach and detach from side dovetail rail on 74u model. 20mm picatinny is to specification and holds red dots very well. The metal construction is tough and lightweight (aluminum?). Great for airsoft and the range.

This is basically a rip-off of the well-known and well-regarded Midwest Industries M1 quick detach Picatinny-style scope mount for AK-47 and AK-74. The original one runs for around $130 and this one you can get for mere 24 bucks. The design is excellent, obviously, as it's copied from the Midwest. Quality wise though do not expect the same as the original one. The mount clamp functions similarly with a spring loaded clamp in the middle and a level for tensioning. The problem number one I noticed is that the clamp's nut that's on the opposite side from the level is different and if positioned incorrectly it will interfere with the rifle side preventing proper fixation due to protruding hex nut side. Seems like the manufacturer is aware of this issue as I found a photo depicting this issue and how to avoid it. The original Midwest mount does not have this problem. Okay, the second issue is its finish. Instead of flat mate black non-reflective mil-spec type 3 anodizing, here we have a clearly machined surface with lots of machining marks and semi-reflective coating that I don't think is anodizing. Not even close to mil-spec standards. Disappointing. Functionally it works fine (if you mount it correctly, see above) so far and, though I did not do any extensive testing yet on the field yet. One last note, the manufacturer does not clearly state the material this mouth is made of, only saying that it's “aerospace-grade aluminum”. I doubt that it's anything better than 6061 aluminum at best. I prefer to know exactly what I put on my rifle. Verdict - for airsoft it's totally fine, for firearms - go for the real Midwest thing.*** TL;DR ***This is a cheaper knock-off of the Midwest Industries M1 scope mount for AK-47/74, priced at $24 compared to $130. While the design is similar, the quality isn't on par. The clamp's nut can cause fitting issues if positioned incorrectly, unlike the original. The finish lacks the standard non-reflective anodizing, and the material isn't clearly specified, likely being 6061 aluminum at best. It functions adequately for airsoft but isn't recommended for firearms compared to the original Midwest mount. My rating is 3 stars.+++ Pros +++1) Affordable alternative to Midwest Industries M1 mount.2) Similar design and functionality.3) Recommended for airsoft.— Cons —1) Lower quality finish and materials.2) Potential fitting issues.3) Not recommended for firearms.

Works very well on my airsoft replica and fits all my ak’s. Very easy to take off and put on other replicas. Also is very sturdy and doesn’t fall off easily. Very good for the price.
