I wasn't optimistic about finding a cheap alternative to the surefire mount, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. You will probably want to get shorter screws than the ones it comes with. and locktite them well.

I used this to secure a light to a barrel and I've had 0 issues with it. Not everything made in China is low quality and this is a testament to that.It'll do. Go for it.

Put on my 10/22 I use for defending my chickens. Secured a flashlight no problem. No rattle or jog, but I did use a rubber strip to protect the barrel's finish.

I had to file the single slot deeper so the mount would fit a standard 1913 rail on an Olight Baldr mini light/laser combo. I also bought shorter hex cap screws (M4x12, .70 pitch) so the mount would fit a 10/22 barrel. Otherwise, it works for its intended purpose.
