L’embase semble de bonne facture mais les vis ne correspondent pas, elles ont un diamètre de 3mm au lieu de 4mm… je vais galérer à trouver de bonnes vis maintenant.Ne recommande pas pour savage Axis.

The flaw with the savage axis was the scope rail. Couldn't fit my vortex on it. This was a perfect fit. And much cheaper than anywhere else.

I got my Vortex on my axis now and it looks great. The screws it came with were too small so I used the OG screws. I had to make the holes bigger in the mount so fit them, just took my drill and opened it up a bit. Mounted great afterwords torqued all the screws down and it runs and looks amazing.

The stock 2 segmented scope mounts were not working with the scope I was using. The mounts were too far apart and the rings were on the bell end of the scope. This mount base allows almost any scope length and allows you to move the scope fore and aft on the gun to get better/more comfortable eye relief. Turns out, this was an awesome upgrade. Blue Lock-tite the screws, and it should last forever. This is not an MOA rise Weaver scope mount rail. My shots are all under 400yds, so I just needed this flat rail with no rise.Update March 12, 2021:I bought a set of Monstrum .80 height scope rings. No Bueno. The spacing on this rail DOES NOT match the spacing on any other picatinny rail I own. The Monstrum rings have a double block style anchor under the ring mount, and they will not work. BUT, the Monstrum rings work perfectly with the factory picatinny rail on my Savage A22, and all other picatinny rails in my collection.Update 2:Weaver/Redfield medium scope rings do not work with the Nikon Prostaff 40mm objective lens scopes on this rail. This rail is just under .25in (.23).. The Weaver/Redfield medium rings measure .16 and the handle hits my diopter bell and will not open My best measurements show that I need at least .50 saddle height from the top of the receiver to the bottom of the scope saddle. . Leupold recommends .97in from the top of the receiver to the center of the scope tube on the Savage Axis - giving you a .47 saddle height for a one piece mount.. Going to buy a Weaver high mount set, and see if the bolt handle will clear the diopter bell. Why no one lists these specs on scope rings and rails, is beyond me. I just want to get the scope as low as I reasonably can. A person could spend well over $100.00 on scope ring sets, and still get it wrong. This stuff gets too expensive too quickly for trial and error.Overall, this rail has limited use, flat, no MOA, non-standard spacing, and you REALLY have to pay attention to the orientation of the rail mounting screws. Luckily I read reviews before I mounted my rail. But if you're just going to throw on a set of single bolt Weaver style hunting rings and an affordable deer scope, this rail is hard to beat. I tried several scopes on my Axis, and this rail accommodated them all, but the Nikon scope I ended up with, would have worked fine with the factory 2pc mount.

Excellent service, delivered as promised. Good fit for my Savage Axis rifle, enables me to mount shorter scopes than when using standard two-piece mounts. Higly recommended!

This product is great for expanding mounting options for optics vs the only position on the factory two piece mount. It is designed to fit flush with the receiver. It is well constructed and durable.I have only one issue with this mount and from what I have read on forums, others have too. The screws provided with the mount actually prevent the action from closing completely. It is no big deal to me since I just used the screws from the original two piece mounts. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because although the screws being too long are a minor issue and most people would still have the factory issued screws, the product is designed specifically for the Axis. If it was a generic product which the packaging stated "may fit Savage Axis", it would not be fault of the manufacturer. But since it was designed specifically for the Axis and all included parts could not be used, I felt it deserved a lower rating.

Model No: 48347 (For Savage Axis Rifle only) Matte 506I ordered this for my Savage Axis to replace the mount that came with the rifle so i can move my scope further back.Unseen in the product picture, there is a cutout that lines with the rifle's Ejection port, but this is useless because it is blocked by the top of the receiver anyway. The distance between each pair of holes on this base are the same and can be mounted either way depending on what you want. I actually mounted it the opposite way, ejection port cutout on the left (just like how you would mount it on a lefty) because I need my scope further back. Before doing this, i called Weaver to ask if this is possible, but the guy on the other end of the phone said he was NOT sure. I did it anyway as I measured the heights on each end, and they were equal. This mount comes with slotted screw drivers, two screws are longer than the other. The longer screws are for the rear, while the shorter ones are for the front. I have considered using the screws that came with the rifle (they are all the same length) they should work with this base, except the front most screw beacuse the Weaver base is thinner than the ones that came eith the rifle which means, the front screw becomes too long. The Base to Receiver torque setting recommended by Weaver is 15 to 20 Inch Lbs. (INCH not foot)We'll see what happens when i receive my Weaver rings over the weekend.
