This was a direct replacement for my sram sx 12 speed. My sx seemed to work fine, but this new sram gx shifts grrrreat. I'm really impressed with it. Definitely worth the money.

I bought the Diamondback 29 Release 1 and it came with a plastic SX derailleur. It broke my first hour in use. I am replacing with this one. SX is not tough enough for a 60 year old man. So GX it is.

After using SRAM SX rear mech, I was ready to upgrade to something that wouldn't need to be continually adjusted after normal trail rides. GX is legit and is levels better than SX. I can't speak on NX, but I can assure you that GX is worth it. Shifts are fast, crisp and smooth and most importantly, reliable. I haven't had to adjust since install.This is one of the best upgrades you can make to any applicable MTB.Just make sure you take your time with feeding the cable correctly to the tension bolt and also get the b tension screw correct. I got away with using lining up using the b tension guide they provide and then just setting it a few mm's closer since you're supposed to set it with a person on the bike.

So far, it seems a solid derailleur. I have had no issues with it. Only thing im not overly fond of is the length of the cage, but it needs that length for the 50 tooth gear on the cassette.

Muy buen cambio, es robusto y muy fiable, lo llevo con el mando Sram XX1 de 11v, muy fácil la instalación que gracias al medidor de distancia que trae se puede colocar a la distancia del casette exacta. Sin ruidos y fino, con el mando gripshif es una gozada para los rápidos cambios de ritmo, por repechos, o paredes. Totalmente recomendable.

Domenica mattina esco in MTB ed un ramo di fa esplodere i deragliatore posteriore.. afflitto, avevo messo in conto una settimana per ritornare in sella! Torno a casa e dopo Whatsapp al mio sivende e ricerche sul web, avevo constatato che il prezzo migliore era quello su AMAZON (96€ perché agli altri aggiungendo le spese di spedizione, si andava abbondantemente oltre i 100€) con consegna PRIME per di più. Alle 18 del pomeriggio parte l'ordine con conferma di consegna IL GIORNO DOPO!! Ebbene alle 3 di notte mi arriva la mail della conferma di spedizione, Lunedì a pranzo il deragliatore era a casa mia! Meno di 24 ore ma soprattutto con un ordine partito la domenica, ed ero in possesso del ricambio! Martedì, due giorni dopo "l'incidente", ero in sella! Servizio assurdo, confezione completa anche di DIMA per il corretto posizionamento della catena e delle puleggie, servizio impeccabile! Non bisogna andare oltre Amazon.. :D

The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur arrived in excellent packaging with the actual product positioned almost like a presentation. Installation was a breeze; the Hi/Lo screws are easily adjusted like with any other derailleur. As a bonus, thanks to the included spacing tool the B-tension screw adjustment was trouble-free and done within seconds. The B-tension spacing is important; at the perfect setting I found that shifting up and down through the gears were crisp and precise, with no chain hopping, no missed shifting, and half shifts. Like the 11-speed GX derailleur I was replacing, this also has the push button cage lock, to get the pulleys out of the way when removing the wheel. Speaking of, the lower pulley features a narrow-wide tooth pattern that grabs a hold of the chain to keep it secure during those rough trail rides.I was upgrading from an 11-speed setup, and I can't tell you how big of an improvement/upgrade it was! For the price of entry (about $375 for the groupset, minus the cranks) the entire GX Eagle system works so well, it feels just like the X01 Eagle system but without the gold bling and more importantly - at a very affordable price point. Shifting is crisp and satisfying. Drive train noise is actually surprisingly quiet. Thanks to the wide range of gears (and the 50t cog!) I can tackle more climbs for longer time periods with less effort. I'm completely happy that I made this upgrade to GX Eagle, looks like SRAM has made 12-speed both reliable and wallet friendly. I wish I had this group set a long time ago!NOTE: I purchased the GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur, XG-1275 GX Eagle 12-speed cassette, GX Eagle 12-speed trigger shifter, and GX-Eagle 12-speed chain. Some of this review will be repeated in my reviews for the other items.

This new 12 speed derailleur works great. I hadn't used SRAM before but this shifts great. The 12 speeds going from 10 tooth to the 50 tooth seems perfect. The installation was easy and there are plenty of youtube videos to help with installation.
