When shifting the 3-speed chainring, something within the shifter mechanism broke to where it would not downshift to the middle gear, but would instead jump from the largest to the smallest. When upshifting, it worked just fine. I wound up buying a more expensive shifter kit, reminding myself that you get what you pay for.

I liked the quality of the metal and them seemed like they would be nice, but with no instructions and no online guides I was stumped and forced to return the product. I am upset that the seller provides no paper work or installation guide

I put these on my 1970 Raleigh Pro. I had updated it to 7 speed index from 5 speed 25 years ago, but I've been using indexed bar end shifters. These work quite nicely. they came with new cables, no housings or instructions. There is a pretty good YouTube video on installing them which I found helpful. For me the trickiest part was getting the front shifting right. It's critical to set the front derailleur cage to about 1mm from the small chain ring and similarly to the large chain ring. This is probably the same for any brake/shifters, but once done it works perfectly.

So far so good on my old univega 3x7 speed. Really crisp shifting and quality feel to it

I use these to update my bicycle from the old style thumb shifters. I wanted a modern type shifter, and I must say these worked very well. Simply shift to a larger sprocket by pushing the paddle behind the brake shifter and shift to a smaller sprocket by tapping the button above it nothing could be easier. I was skeptical about not having a shift indicator to show me what gear I was in but once I got used to the shifters that was no longer an issue. With these, I was able to update my bike to work more like a newer model without having to break the bank.

These are great. They feel better than STI Brifters. Nice padding. Coming from friction shifters, these have made my road bike feel a lot more comfortable to bike with.

They look good and feel great in the hands. These work great if you have small hands. I am using them with shimano tourney derailleurs. I prefer these more than shimano' tourney levers because they do not have thumb shifters on them.

Great product so far. Easy to install and very comfortable. It came from China and I was aware of the long delivery time, but it didn't take as long as advertised...it arrived 3 weeks early.
