This charger works perfectly for my BaoFeng ham radio. I like that it can also be plugged into any USB-A power source & it charges my device great!

This is a good Baofeng solution for having a way to easily charge your batteries on the go.Works whether you use the cradle or have an extended battery with the charging port, it's a lighter option if you don't need the cradle.I have not tested charge times but did make sure it functioned correctly.

Cheap plastic, not properly bound together. The whole end piece of the usb fell apart in a few days. The base gets hot and melted a spot through the bottom of it, so it's not safe to leave in the house unattended.

After the charger that came with the radio just up and died, this thing has become a godsend.Charges quickly and I love the LED lights on the plug and the base that change colors depending on status. Well worth the money.

USB charger works with the Baofeng base that came with the UV-82HP radio, but the base that comes with this is not compatible - note the distance between the alignment tabs and electrical contacts in the attached image. It took a couple hours to fully charge the radio but the adapter did not warm appreciably and its LED worked.

This charger uses a computer plug in, if you have a 12VDC cigarette lighter ( power plug) in your car, it draws very little power, so you can leave it running in your car all night

Great value. I’ve also used this with small portable solar panels with a usb plug to keep a constant ready charge with no maintenance. Great buy!

This is a perfect replacement for the Baofeng UV-5R replacement. I've had mine plugged in since I got it and it works great!
