Took some work and muscle to put together but love being able to roll them from rear of barn up to The the front door when fully loaded

Cost less than the other 4-kayak rack. Arrived on time. Heavy duty box. Hardware labeled and organized. Clear instructions. Assembled quickly. Couldn’t tell the manufacturer or distributor, but this product is great.

I purchased the Metalyeye outdoor Kayak rack for two Kayaks and one paddle board for my granddaughter. I had planned to purchase some lumber and make one that I had seen on Pinterest. But when I went to the big box lumber store and reviewed the cost of lumber and hardware needed to make the Free standing rack was close to the price of the Metalyeye rack. Plus I didn't have all the tools needed to build it. And I still had to build it. I opted the Metalyeye rack. It arrived a day earlier than expected, well packaged and easy directions with two simple tools included for assembly. In less than two hours I had it put together with the Kayaks and paddle board sitting safe and off the ground. Plus It has wheels so I can move it if need be.

Directions were easy to follow, once assembled I was not sure it would fit my 2 Kayaks and paddleboard, but sure enough it does! Love the option of wheels or not. Would recommend for sure, fits nicely behind my shed.

Assembly was about as easy as it gets following the simple instructions. Just two things to note: 1) in step 2, when attaching the uprights (item B) to the base (item A) you can install them in either direction. I don't believe it makes any difference to the structural strength or functionality, but whatever way you choose, they should both be oriented the same way to keep it symmetrical (see picture with red circle). 2) an Allen wrench and open end wrench is included, but the wrench doesn't fit the nuts (see picture), so you’ll need a 12mm or adjustable wrench to complete assembly.

I had two 2-man kayaks, the wheels collapsed. Expected better according to the reviews. Oh well.
