This unit was the proper replacement charger for my TYT MD-UV380; identical to the original. My original base had become broken. However, the replacement I received had a break in the cord, and it also would not charge the battery. I was able to use my original wall transformer, and I moved the internal circuit board from the old unit to the replacement, so ended up using only the plastic base of this replacement unit--but that got me going. Hopefully if others need a replacement, theirs will be perfect.

I purchased this for a Radioddity DMR, since it looks like they no longer want to provide chargers for their radios. I was told this radio and the TTY radio used the same charger. The advice given me was good. This charger works perfect, and uses a normal power plug as opposed to the dangerous USB style plug. No complaints.
