Looks very sturdily built with how many little screws keep the turtle and shell together so it'll last.I wish the turtle shell was able to clip onto the turtle though since it kinda just sits on it. There's no way to snap it on nicely. The umbrella looked surprisingly good but it's more for style than actual sun shade. The stopper piece that locks it into the small holes in the turtle feet doesn't really lock it well, so you have to drive the umbrella stake into the ground to make it really stick. We had lots of sand toys already so they were a nice bonus.It looks like the design for the pieces locking together make sure it will drain properly without having to drill holes or do anything weird too which is nice. Overall a solid pickup.

Got this sand box for a 2 year old. I knew it was going to be small by the measurements they give you and yet it seems smaller in person. It actually works out better for a toddler and I didn’t have to buy too much sand to fill it up. Assembly was super easy and straightforward. Pieces are thin plastic yet they feel durable. The whole unit is really easy to clean. Had it for a few weeks already and it doesn’t seem to lose any sand, not a significant amount anyways. The color and turtle design is super cute. Love that it comes with a cover to keep the sand dry. Also love the umbrella for shade. The quality of the umbrella is ok, I wouldn’t leave it up on windy days. Overall it’s a good sandbox. Good quality and the kid loves playin with it.

So the first thing I should say is that this is a mini version of the larger turtle sandbox that we all had his kids. It is really cute and the umbrella is a nice touch but it is significantly smaller than the larger ones for outdoor use. Another thing worth noting is that I don't think that it's water tights it's the pieces all clicked together.

This is a really cute sandbox, unfortunately once you put it together the sand box part is actually very small, less than 2 feet in diameter, so even my 1 year old is almost to big to sit in it while playing cuz she takes up a good portion of it. It was also a bit annoying to put together, it has about 50 tiny screws and they don't go in as easily as you would like them to. I do think it is adorable and it's fine for my back porch, but I think my child will grow out of it in one season.

First off, the pictures on the web page and the pictures on the box are very deceiving. This is way smaller than what it appears. No child can fit inside it, they basically have to sit next to it and play in it. The plastic quality is very poor, I forsee the sun making it brittle and not lasting a season. Mine came with one of the screw holes broken off, that's how cheap the plastic is. You have to assemble the four pieces for the bottom and the four pieces for the top. It comes with itty bitty screws to assemble it with and a provided screwdriver. Throw the screwdriver away and use your own, this one strips out halfway through. The turtle's head and tail slide on to the base, no screws to hold it in place. Hence, they do not stay on. The umbrella is also very inferior, locking it down to keep it open resulted in the cheap plastic latch breaking on the first opening. I would stay away from this one, there are far better ones out there.

Was not as big as pictures makes it seem . My 5 and 4 year can’t fit inside but can sit beside and play with the sand. Which is my reason for 3 stars. However the quality and the extra accessories are a plus.

Overall a very cute and precious piece! It is quite small, I should’ve read the dimensions! I wish the lid would have a way to snap on, but for the price and everything you get with it, it’s great!
