Daughters sand box canopy lasted a few years before the TX weather got it. Was happy to find a replacement for it. The other was a brown one, so I am happy to see this spring green and white one available.

I don't think this product was meant for the sandbox shown on the product page. Our sandbox is exactly like the one in the pictures and it is 48" x 48", but this canopy top is only 45" x 45" so it didn't fit, even with a bit of stretching. There are also ties at each of the four corners on the canopy top, but this type of sandbox doesn't have any posts at the four corners so the ties are useless. There is nothing to tie them to. The product information states there is elastic at each of the four corners, but the one I received has no elastic in it at all. The material is said to be oxford cloth with a waterproof coating, and I'm not saying it isn't, but I have purchased many oxford cloth products in the past and the material seemed to be much thicker than this. This is a lighter weight material than I was expecting but it does seem to be durable and not prone to tearing. The original canopy cover that came with our sandbox tore in several places after being out in the sun all summer; it just didn't stand up to the heat and suns rays so I was looking forward to this replacement. I can't recommend this because the one I received isn't the size it was represented to be and is of no use to me.
