Real nice set of sights. The tritium could be a bit brighter.

If I could give this product zero stars I could. This is the second truglo product I've bought. The first was a struggle to install, but that was years ago. I purchased this one for a fifferent unit thinking maybe the first time was only me. (it wasn't!).The front sight, with a sight pusher installed fine. There is no hole in it however for the roll pin which came out of the original sight. Hopefully it will stay in place. The rear sight is a different story altogether. The original sight, once I loosened the Allen screw, slid right out. I then tried installing this one and it's no where near a replacement sight. I struggled for over an hour, slowly stoning off material until I could get it to fit.Using a sight pusher, I managed to finally get it into the dovetail. No need for the Allen because it's so damn tight. I used the Allen anyway, but loosening it to move the sight for windage is not going to happen at the range unless one has a pusher with them. The fit is terrible. On top of all this, the tritium is barely noticeable. I have other sights where they illuminate like lamps, but these are horrible. I'd return everything, but don't want the struggle of removing it again, plus it's been stoned to fit.Good luck me trying to remove it now! It's in there super tight.I would never recommend this sight for anyone looking for a "drop in" replacement. This is the first bad review I've ever given, but trust me, this sight deserves it. The under cut and fit are atrocious.Stay away from this product.

Because I value my handgun I had a professional gunsmith do the installation of this sights. He managed without much difficulty and I noticed a marked improvement in sight picture and accuracy the first time I took the gun to the range. Visibility is outstanding in bright light and in near darkness it is the difference between being able to find the sights and just relying on point shooting. I put these on a Ruger LC9s and I'm not even a little tempted to reverse that process.

Installed on Ruger LC9S. A definite improvement over the stock sights. The dots are highly visible and they glow reasonably well in the dark. I purchased the yellow rear with green front and I will say that the green front appears to glow brighter than the yellow, not sure if thats true for all or just mine. Metal encased and seem like they will be quite durable, but im not going to throw it at a rock to find out... In daylight the perceivable difference in color between the yellow rear and green front is not significant, I would probably prefer to have green rear and like a red front but that wasn't an option. Overall I am highly satisfied with my purchase and I would highly recommend these sights.

All I can say is, "what a difference." The factory sights on my LC9S were good, but these are incredible. They are very good at night and exceptionally good in daylight. I can't imagine being without these again. You will need a good sight pusher to install them, but anyone with decent mechanical skills can do that without needing the services of a gunsmith.

These sights are extremely bright in the daylight, and they glow very well in darkness. I am pleased with these sights, and they look nice on the gun itself. One caution, however: I had to order a replacement set. Sights were great initially, but following a trip to the range, the front sight lost luminescence. I believe there must have been a slight crack in the front vial that contains the Tritium gas, and the vibration from running rounds through the pistol allowed the gas to escape. The fiber optic, obviously, still looked great in lit conditions. Amazon was fantastic about replacing the sights, and mailed a new set immediately: Truly makes such purchases risk free. Thanks Amazon.P.S.: The picture below is a comparison of the Truglo sights (on the left) and another manufacturer: The Truglo are brighter.

Perfect fit. These things are really bright in daylight. The night sight function is worth the money, but when you add the fiber optic part for the daylight visibility, these are great. It's a good design and highly functional.I had no problems installing using a tool I got from the big E at a huge discount. I haven't checked the alignment yet, but they were dead on based on the before and after laser alignment.I would recommend these over anything else I saw for the LC9.

Used on LC9sI had these sights installed by a semi-local firearm dealer. i noticed they did a poor install after grouping was consistently off to the left. Took it back and they fixed it perfectly. My groups are better now than with the factory sights. They are extremely easy to see at all times rather it is bright, pitch black and everything in between. It has made a "keeper" of my little ruger. The only negative I can even consider would be that the dots seem larger than factory. This would effect longer distance shooting because the dots would "fill" your point of aim. However, as I mentioned before, up to normal practicing distance (between 10 and up to ~30 yards) my patterns are much better and much more consistent. I am also able to take shots quicker due to faster sight and target aquisition due to easier to locate sights. This is a good product. I have had several other brands on various guns and this one is arguably the brightest. They have lasted >1year now and they still light up like new. I also was fearful of how solid the sights would feel being fiber optic on top. I believe unless you threw the gun down directly on top of a solid, pointy object that protruded the fiber optic part of the sight perfectly, it would hold up fine. I have dropped the gun on concrete unloaded (accident) and it landed on the back corner of the rear sight. Small scratch, still sighted in perfectly and no issues.
