I’m a mechanic, not a gunsmith. Looked like an easy installation in spite of the fact that the packaging suggests having a gunsmith do it. Took about two hours-lots of fitting and trial and error. But now that it’s in I love it!

the installation went well... BUT THE FIRST TIME I PUT THE GUN IN AND OUT OF MY HOLSTER THE CHEAP PLASTIC PIECE THAT HOLDS THE FIBER OPTIC BROKE OFF.

Nice sight. You must be prepared to put this unit in a vise and take a file to it, try the fit, remove, file again, and finally hammer it home. If you're cool with that, you're all set. If you expect to slide it home first fit, you'll be disappointed. :)

Excellent product fit my rugar lc9 perfect, my original site that came with my rugar kept on moving to one side even using blue locators.The hype viz hasent moved .

Works well, the fiber is nice and bright, even indoors.There is a gap between the sight and slide, but not enough for anything to snag on it.
