Excellent sights fur my 57yo eyes but a pain in the ass to install. That's Springfields fault not Truglo.

I really like these sites I bought two pair, one for a Sig Sauer SP2340, and one for a Springfield XD. Both installed easily. And work great. Cannot beat the price $75 each. I have brought more expensive sites and less expensive sites. These were the best of the bunch so far

Installed on my XD 40. Easy with a sight pusher. Excellent sights, fair price, fast shipping.

This is my 3rd and 4th set of Tru Glo night sights. They show up well in light and especially in the dark. They are super easy to line up and acquire your target. I've put them on Glocks which is a very easy job.Putting on XD pistols are another story and requires experience, skill, and a strong steel jig. Please do not do it yourself or you risk the possibility of ruining the sights and damaging your slide unless you know what you are doing. If you want to proceed, please get instruction by a skilled gunsmith if you've never put them on XD pistols or any other tight fitting, pressed sights. They must be installed properly. A good friend with seasoned gunsmithing experience told me he ruined the slides and sights attempting to install them.I will not go into "how to" because it brings up legal implications so once you get the sights and are ready to do a difficult installation, you are on your own. Please do not ask me for instruction as I am a certified range safety officer do not provide that outside of my in person classroom for safety reasons. it isn't worth taking any chances. Yes, safety IS that important.

Installed on a Springfield XD9sc and XD45c. I personally prefer front and rear sights to be different colors at night so was a little worried about all of them being green with this sight but I actually found when looking at night you can still tell a difference with the front sight from rear.Front sight is slightly less wide than the factory sights, so I centered it between the markers on the slide and went shooting, seems to be close enough to zero.Overall, they glow at night, look good in the day, so not much more to a sight than that.Careful removing the factory sights though, those are an absolute beast on Springfield XD's.

Sights are good but the orange ring seems to be plastic and not a fluorescent paint. It’s also smaller than my other sights and for my old eyes that’s very important. I’ll keep them for a range gun but I won’t use them on my carry gun. I’ll stick to Trijicon or Ameriglo.

I decided to try these as replacements for a set of Trijicons I had on a Springfield XD. Installation was a breeze. No filing or fitting. The starting edge of the appears to be beveled a bit to make starting insertion into the groove on the pistol slide easier. You can start it with your fingers. I have a pusher so it was very easy after that. The sight is machined well. It went in with medium resistance. This would have been pretty easy with just a brass punch if that’s all you had.The sights are well machined. They have smooth corners and are snag free. But the rear sight has enough of a ledge to hook on something intentionally if you had to cycle the slide one handed. The tritium capsules appear to be equally as bright as the Trijicons I had. I very much like the thick bright orange donut around the front sight. Very high vis in daytime.
