I thought they’d sound more like toys but was wrong. Bought for my husband who plays in a funk band and wanted some for at our house, we play them at jams all the time.

The sound is not a full-bodied sound that I'm used to on a bigger tambourine. The metal disks are very small and there's not a lot of space between the 2 discs to make a good sound. It sounds pretty weak. I will be returning and getting a proper tambourine.

Ok so i did not buy these for music. I just want to say that up front. I am training my little mini to drive and these are for noise (to mimic the sound of the harness). So i am dragging them along the ground behind her. And you know what…they are holding up great!

I fixed a slight break with wood glue. It broke after 5 uses, but is still usable. Purchased for a theatre production.
