When searching for Toilet Safety Rails for Elderly, I saw this product but decided not to buy it because of the the price. I bought a cheaper one that had suction cups to keep the rails in place! The rails moved and I landed on the floor! I was not seriously hurt but cost me a doctor's visit! So, I paid the price and bought this one! This product is GREAT, VERY STURDY, AND WORTH THE MONEY!

Far more solidly built than I had imagined. Assembly was fairly simple. Placed around the tall toilet with elongated bowl and the fit was spot on. I definitely like that this design because it doesn't get in the way where it can be soiled like some other designs. Easy to remove when I sanitize the wet room with shower. Would I buy this again or recommend it to others? Definitely yes. Very pleased with the purchase and that it fulfilled the need that I had. My 85 year old neighbor who is like family had a full knee replacement. Prior to the surgery we were preparing the house to make everything convenient for when she came home to recover.This safety rails have been a godsend and they plan on keeping the rails on permanently because it does help them aside from the surgery.Setup was a breeze. Took maybe 10 min to unbox and secure it well to the toilet.If you're looking for a good quality, affordable toilet safety rails that you can also give as a gift, I highly recommend this one.

Definitely saves space with the arms being able to fold up we have a small bathroom and my son needed this due to a spinal surgery i am a big guy 6ft 260lbs and have no problem using the restroom with it in place but you can actually remove the arms individually and adjust the height of the arms individually

Update:Received a replacement item without rust! This item fits perfectly in the intended bathroom. It is sturdy and easy for my disabled son to use. He especially likes the ability to raise the arms when not in use.Before buying, be sure to measure the distance from any obstruction like a vanity or tub. Needs clearance to install and use correctly.*********This item is rusty. There is also rust inside the plastic wrap. Returning for replacement.

NO INSTRUCTIONS! Not sturdy, handles are not secure and you have to reach down to remove a slab of metal that’s hung on a chain in order to raise handles and have to put back in slot to get up as they will lift up someone if you try to get up. Must put metal into slot then that does not make handrails secure. There are pieces of metal the could cause a person and significant skin tear or cut if hit against. Even the metal tabs can cause issues for someone using and trying to remove or replace. Poor quality. Would not recommend deserves 0 stars.
