Time will tell, but initial impression is very positive. Robust thickness and does not appear to be laminated strips. My wife has an expensive leather iPhone case, but the lousy strap has separated in several places - cheapo lamination and poor glue.If this TOFL strap works out as planned, we'll move the fittings from the old strap to this one and hopefully get years of service.p.s. The price was very reasonable, especially if you look at prices for replacement straps.

I bought two packages. One each to wrap two drum stick handles. After I finished the second wrap, I noticed that one was bigger than the other. When I compared the unused portion of each piece I could see that they were two different thicknesses. These are not any old drum stick. they are works of art. Many hours of work screwed up because of this mistake. Can't be fixed. huge bummer.

This is my third purchase of these leather strips, I’ve bought them in 3 different widths trying to find the correct size for a bag I made. They are all very soft and flexible, not stiff at all. I’m very happy with them and now will need to make more bags 😊

This leather is very soft even though it is thick. I used it on slotted conchos to tie bleed knots. I was worried it was too thick and might tear. Worked out great. High quality!

I was looking for something to pull back some café curtains in the kitchen. All the traditional tiebacks were far too long - 23" to 36" and more. I just needed about 12". Was watching HGTV and someone was using leather straps to hang shelves. Bingo! Did a quick search and TOFL straps came up. Perfect size was available and all I had to do was use an awl to punch some holes after I'd cut them to length. Cup hooks into the window frames finished it off. Easy to hook in the a.m. and unhook at night. One downer: I received black instead of the navy blue I'd ordered. Except I didn't order navy blue, I ordered black. I checked. My bad. Still works and looks good. Black goes with everything, right?

I really like this leather for my sandal designs. Does stretch a little, but all leather does. It can be inconsistent in thickness, which can range from thinner that 1/8" to about 3/16" thick. A really soft leather that is dyed all they way through which you don't get on cheaper leather strips. Will continue to buy, but I wish you'd have more colors like a forest green, and maybe a lime green.

I have purchased this product twice now. Very glad I did. The first time was to replace a leather chin strap on an old French army helmet. It worked great. This time I purchased it to make a sword hanger.The leather is perfect. Not to stiff but also not to soft. It has good color and you get a pretty long piece. I will purchase from here again. They are fast about shipping and they make a great product.
