I just received my package, and not one piece was 10" x 5". 15 pcs were 8" long, and 1 pc was 9" long. So, I waited a week for a shipment that is not something I can use due to a faulty description. The quality of the shearling is good, but the description is wrong.

My husband purchased this for a project with his saddle. The pieces are nice sized and tanned well, they don't stink. Some of the wool is different quality but the pieces are even. Nice item for a small project.

I bought these wool remnants to make inserts for bedroom slippers of the members of my household. I have done this for myself for years. Keeps feet dry and comfy, cold weather or hot. I would have liked if the size of the remnants was slightly larger as I had to use them diagonally for some slippers to get the full length I needed. I use the scraps from these projects to apply dye to my leather craft projects. Very satisfied with the quality. From experience, I would say this is Lambs Wool, as advertised.

Excellent quality! Maybe a bit small, but within the advertised size guidelines. These are great for crafts, or making soft insoles for chilly senior citizen feet.

I bought this pack to pad my knee scooter. It is working perfectly. I punched holes and used twine to tie this down for some cushion and a more absorbent surface. Feels really soft and so much better.

First the Negative:The pieces are smelly. Not overwhelmingly, but noticeably. The lanolin smell only slightly masks the rotted hide smell. It’s not awful, but it is a consideration if you’re getting these to cuddle up with.Some pieces had blue pen marks on the suede side, near the edges where the pieces were cut.A couple pieces were dirty on the wool sides. And maybe it’s not dirt? It seems stained a brownish black, which makes using them more difficult. My best solution is to dye those pieces to cover up the stains.Now the Neutral:One piece out of the whole lot had a much thicker and stiffer hide than the rest. Luckily I thought of a way to use that single piece, but I expected all of them to be consistent. That said, the curl of the wool was varied too. Of course, these came from individual sheep, and it’s actually neat to see the individuality.Finally, the Positive:Oh my goodness, the pieces are big! And there are a lot! Despite the measurements being listed, I anticipated these being about half the size. Some are quite supple, and others are slightly stiffer, but all (with the exception listed above) were flexible and seem easy to apply to my projects.Before I made the purchase, I hemmed and hawed over the price (~$30). But after receiving the product, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Quality pieces. All sized uniformly. Good variety of "wool" density for various applications. Excellent for applying conditioner to leather boots/jackets.

I bought these specifically to use on the arms of my leather sofa, to protect my furniture from our kitten. In the picture, the closest sheepskin bit shows the product, where I used it to protect the arms of our sofa. (The larger sheepskin bit in the background is a sheepskin rug we use to protect the seat of the sofa.) I can actually imagine lots of uses for these scraps and in fact, we used several of them to create a plush bed in the cat tree and the cats love it. Bottom line, this is exactly what I was looking for and it's a great value for the price.
