◙ LARGE PIECES: Mostly large pieces and maybe some scraps, this is NOT an assortment of little scraps. You will receive 1,2 or 3 approx. large pieces. Thickness may vary a little from 4 to 6 oz., 1.5-2.5 mm. aprox. This leather is not too thick or stiff, that will help you to make your leather craft project, NOT for thick belts. Can be used as Knife Sharpening Leather Strops, Clean Back Side!!
◙ TOTAL SURFACE: If you spread together the pieces on a table you will have 3-4 sq. feet, each sq. foot is 12” x 12” in., this is a lot of material for your projects, even it could be only one clean large long piece always cut directly from the hide.
◙ IMPORTANT: The GENUINE leather is a natural material, so please keep in mind that a little portion could contain fat wrinkles, little holes, folds, insect bite marks, tone changes, discoloration, small scratches, etc., it is because animals have lived free in the fields, all of this is completely normal working with GENUINE VEG TAN LEATHER, BUT 90% of the leather is completely clean and flawless. We carefully check every piece, clean pieces are pre-cut directly from the Grade A cowhides but with irregular shapes as shown on pictures.
◙ ATTENTION: Pictures are only for example purpose, the size and irregular shapes of every piece varies, but the total weight 1LB or more and 3-4 sq feet are guaranteed, color may vary depending on screen.
◙ PACKAGING: Store our Veg Tan Leather into our craft box or not worry about packaging when you are making a gift. We roll and pack the leather pieces inside individual boxes, this way we protect the leather during storing and transport avoiding damages or folds

Decent leather, some of the pieces could have been larger, suitable for only small projects unless you want to buy alot and stitch things together!

Happy with the leather. I haven't done any leather working for over 10 years. It's consistent, color, thickness, and finish. Had 1 blemish. Got two large pieces and two smaller ones. Cut one up to make the outer part of a wallet (used cheap hobby lobby leather for the interior). Thick enough to tool with, but not too thick to be annoying. Going to make a sheath next. Plan on making a knife sheath next and will probably order more later for a bag.Larger pieces where about 1'x2' smaller ones are little larger then a opened wallet.

Received my leather today and was very happy! Big pieces and as advertised very little if any blemishes. Cant wait to get it into a finished piece! Thickness is perfect.

I was pleasantly surprised by the product. I was expecting a bunch of pieces and scraps honestly. But when I opened the box there were huge pieces of good quality leather. I know these are remnants but still lots of leather and good stuff for the price!

From the outset it looked finished on the flesh side ok but when working with it for only a few moments it gets very fluffy and crumbly. Poor quality and would not buy again or recommend at all.

I bought this leather just prior to Christmas, and was quite astonished at the quality. Honestly, I had no idea what I was getting for the money I was paying, as it can often be a hit or miss with leather, particularly scraps. The tooling side had quite the pleasant texture, while the other side ranged from soft to very soft. Undyed, the very soft sides left bits of leather places, but after it was dyed (which it did so beautifully, I might add), it stiffened up, and there wasn't any excess leather getting places, yet still kept a semblance of its softness (I used oil dyes, by the way).It carved and stamped extremely well. I loved to see the rich burnish the stamps gave the leather. A part of me wished to have just made a plain piece without dye using that lovely aesthetic. Punching holes through it was a breeze too (really, the perfect thickness for wallets in my opinion). I loved it so much that I even made myself a new leather wallet! I imagine this leather would be really good for other small leather projects, such as stamped keychains, bookmarks, or even journals. After I was done with the wallets, I was even more impressed with its smooth texture.For a picture of quantity: I managed to make one big and two medium sized men's wallets with an additional three 7x1.5 inch strips to spare, which I used to mount a cosplay foam covered fiberglass spear to my wall.Will definitely be buying more!

Delivery was fast- Got it on timeI got really good sizes - 2 big size, 1 medium size and 2 tiny ones (i think its a freebie). It was more than enough for the leather project i will be working on.Im not yet a good judge for the leather quality but the leather was clean, a few scratches (kinda expected since its a raw material) and looks really easy to work onWill definitely order again for my next project

A little heavy for my original intended purpose (looks like a light weight is what I needed), but I'll just use them for another project. The leather is great quality so will look great as whatever I decide to adapt it into. I received one large piece and a couple of smaller pieces, all of excellent quality.
