Had to fix a leaking oil pan plug and make new threads. Purchased this kit to do the job but the bit that makes a seat on the end broke a tooth while turning it slowly. Managed to still use the tool but the insert threads aren't flush now. This kit works but defenetly not worth the price if it was made from cheap material.

good quality. But I do not have car lift and cannot well align the drill bit / tap with oil pan, even with the tap guide..... Have to manually file the stick-out part of the thread insert..... painful experience... You may need to disassemble oil pan or get a car lift for a good alignment.

Bought this for my Raptor 700 crankcase drain plug. I apparently got it too tight and pulled the threads out of the aluminum when I went to change my oil. Used this and after a couple changes there are no leaks
