We really like our Lifetime Wave youth kayak and it is super light and easy to move and put on the car roof. If you want scupper plugs for the drain holes don't order the standard ones as I tried about 5 different brands off amazon and they were all too big despite being "similar in measurements". For this lifetime youth kayak you need silicone rubber stoppers size #5 which fit perfectly without sticking out either top or bottom. Screw a threaded eye bolt into the top of the rubber stopper to allow removal and use a string to the tie down loops so they don't get lost or sink. The kayak travels easy in a straight line and also turns easily when you want to. Kids liked sitting with legs out, sitting with legs crossed, and also kneeling with feet under them. The person weight capacity is accurate and you can go a little over that number if you can deal with reduced stability. Note that these are designed for flat water and become very unstable in ocean/bay type waves with white caps.
