This turned out to be just what we needed for sampling our pool water. It is small but picks up plenty of pool water for our Taylor water test kit with a little left over. I used a piece of 3/4” pvc as a handle. Works great.

I really don’t dislike anything about the product. I mean it must have if you’re at that age where you don’t wanna bend over to check the pool but other than that man it’s great product durability and functionality is awesome.

If all you do is a PH and Chlorine check it should work fine for you but I ran out of water after a CH test during a TA test fill. Filling it multiple times would require going back out to the pool and would be moretrouble than it is worth. I ordered one (also on Amazon (but called a "Back Saver") with a much larger capacity at 3 times the cost. So, I'd say 5 star if you only have the small block PH and Chlorine tester but if you do a comprehensive test frequently a larger one would be better. If you are interested in my review of the Back Saver I describe a modification I made to allow deep water samples. Again 5 star but that assumes the small sample is all you need.

This is easy to use to get a water sample without having to get on your knees. Then you pour your water sample into your test tube vial, add your drops to check your pool. I bought the skimmie to use it with so I don't think it would work on your long pool pole.

I was so excited to buy this product! Finally I wouldn't have to kneel down to get a water sample. Unfortunately it is way too small. Great if you use dip sticks to test but to show it next to a Taylor test kit is very misleading? I would have to get 6 or more samples to have enough water for a set of basic tests. It was also very snug snapping onto my pole so if I had to dunk and remove it 6+ times whenever I needed to test it would not be very long until it was broken.
