I find myself constantly fixing my kids’ bikes, flipping upside down which can be a complete hassle with the smaller ones as they tend to tip. So I ordered this repair stand to have always at the ready for whichever bike is next in need of repair or maintenance. The stand has 3 points for balance with a vertical stand that can telescope for various bicycle heights. The 2 horizontal legs extend 31.6” from the base, to ensure balance. At the upper end of the vertical pole is the clasp, which doesn’t extend beyond a couple inches, which allows this compact repair stand to completely support the weight of the bike off the ground, without concern for tipping. The steel portions are all made of aluminum so it’s quite light overall. All joints, clasps, etc are made of hard plastic, so it’s easy to maneuver and function. With plastic parts I’m a little concerned about durability and longevity of this tool. Considering this is already getting allot of use, and especially as my kiddos are starting to perform their own bike maintenance, I can see this getting mishandled or tipped. And all it takes is one hard fall to the ground, landing on a plastic part, and this could crack and quickly become useless. But plastic parts are hard to avoid these days, and these parts aren’t exactly cheap quality, so I’m satisfied with the construction of this product until that happens. There’s a lot of advantage to this as well. The fact that it holds any of our bikes off the ground makes this so useful in repairs. The height is right for my youngest child’s bike, and extends up enough to work on my bikes just the same. Plus it’s sturdy enough to support both my road bike and my mountain bike, so very versatile. The clamps are easy to adjust with a quick turn of the lever, so my kids can work with this too. Plus, they threw in a small magnetic catch-all shelf on the backside, which is actually a lot more helpful than I anticipated. For every little nut and bolt that I’m used to setting down only to have roll away, can now be tossed to the same magnetic stop so I know where everything is.Please note: My review is part of Amazon's Vine Program which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for honest, accurate reviews. This stand was really easy to put together. It folds up into a small space which I really appreciate! Also, it can hold a lot of weight and is made of sturdy materials. There were two minor issues I had. One was that it wanted to keep sliding down whenever I put weight on it. This was solved by tightening the bottom clamp tighter. It wasn't that bad to get tightened, but I needed it tighter than what was needed without the weight on it, so it was a surprise when it was holding up fine, I put the bike on it and it started to fold in.The second issue has more to do with my bike than with this stand. My top tube is sort of an oval shape so the clamp doesn't exactly fit around it, but to this stand's credit, it held it very solidly! See pic for what I'm talking about. It's made to hold odd shapes!Judging by my use so far and the materials etc, I feel like I'm going to get years of great service out of this stand. I would recommend it!

Great Repair Stand for my bike. While not as portable as the other ones since the tube diameter is very large, it was able to old up my bike.
