Your cart is empty. The Tech Team Kayak, SUP Vertical Storage Rack is ideal for storage in areas with high ceilings and limited floor space or horizontal wall space. Store kayaks and SUPs securely with two web straps. We recommend that a cushion or pad (not included) of some kind be used under the kayak or SUP to protect it from contact with the floor and to better distribute the weight of the kayak. Please be sure that your kayak can be safely stood on end without damaging itself. Also make sure that your kayak is either empty or that all parts and stored items are securely fastened or stowed before standing it up.

Works fine, the kayak is a little heavy to stand up but once in there it holds it in place. It says it would hold two but I don't think so, the straps don't seem big enough

Absolutely thrilled with this purchase! Rugged, perfect fit, easy to install, super effective! It honestly took me longer to clear out the space than to install the rack and kayak. Instructions were (mostly) clear (step 5 seems to imply that top rack was installed first but that is not what photos and instructions 1-4 seem to imply + would have appreciated a recommendation for distance between upper and lower rack but used photos as a guide). Tons of photos to help walk through the install process. VERY sturdy/ well made. Installed kayak is very stable - no wiggling! This is my summer storage only (winter store horizontal in rafters) but makes for easy peasy chuck onto roof rack and into the river. Everything I hoped for and more. Appreciate that the side retainers can be easily removed so there is zero poking risk when kayak is tucked away in longer term storage and the snow blower will be in this garage spot. Great value for $. Would buy again in a heart beat but likely will never have to! PS - my local kayak supply company provided the foam packing piece to protect end of boat from pressing on floor. Way nicer looking than a chair pad.

Needed a way to store my kayak without giving up floor space or safety. Horizontal racks gave up too much space. Overhead racks and pulley systems did not seem all that safe and were not well designed. Then is dawned on me, the retailers all stack their kayaks vertically. Stated searching the net and wound up with the Tech Team wall mounts. Easy to install, easy to load. Plan on leaving the kayak in the rack during the winter and extended down periods. Only cautions is make sure you have the verticle height necessary and you hit studs when installing. Good product.
