One of my favorite features of this freestanding kayak rack is that it’s on casters, making it incredibly easy to move. Since we store ours in our boat bay, regular cleaning is a must to keep things fresh and pest-free, and this rack allows us to roll it out for easy access.It’s sturdy yet space-efficient, designed to sit flush against the wall—a huge plus compared to double-sided 6-bay racks, which tend to eat up too much space. This kayak rack is exactly what we needed to get the kayaks up off the garage floor! It was easy for my husband and I to put together, and everything seems really sturdy and good quality with no sharp edges or defects. The arms can be adjusted up and down to accommodate different sizes of kayaks or SUPs, so that is super convenient. I love that it is on casters so it can be moved around the garage if needed, and the casters lock to hold it in place when you want it to stay put, such as when loading or unloading. We added some magnetic hooks along the back support bar to hang life jackets from, so it really is an all-in-one kayak and gear storage station. Overall, this is a very nice storage solution for our kayaks, and I think it is a great value for the size and functionality.
