Bought this a replacement because mine looked worn out quick and the bike didn't get used that much either. This one is definitely solid and worked for my Trek FX1

I have standard 26" rims and a 12 speed bike with 6 gears on the back wheel. This was a perfect fit and replacement for my yellowed, cracked, original one from the 1990's.

The quality of this spoke protector is great, thick plastic, clear as a diamond. Only complaint is that it takes a lot of attention to keep it clean from all the grease and oil from the freewheel and chain. Recommended if your spoke protector is broken and needs replacement.

Good sizes. Looks and feels sturdy. Nicely finished appearance. Does a good job.

Replaced the old cracked plastic disc on my Schwinn M. B. with this one and what an improvement !! Bigger, stronger, heavier duty and much nicer looking... The old one was broken and falling apart even as I was removing it. Easy to install once I removed the freewheel. Would recommend to others.

This thing is huge. It didn't bother me because I just busted my dremel out and took it down. I don't care for dork disks, but I have had my rear derailleur slam into my spoke from over cranking my gears... and also had my chain get stuck. So, it's necessary. Just make sure this is the size you need.

It has worked well on a mountain bike for 13 months and 3,600 miles. It cleans up well with Windex. It looks great. The sun makes a cool curvy light pattern in its shadow. It is significantly bigger than the stock spoke protector, so it offers more protection. I bought it out of caution because many reviewers of brand new bikes had problems with derailers falling off on their first rides. It fits tightly between the freewheel and hub. This leads to a soft grinding sound which resonates through the disc. The sound goes away after a few rides with high speed coasting as the parts wear against each other.I'm happy I bought it and intend to replace mine with the same model when the time comes.
