I alwaystake A 2x. The jacket size runs small. Very comfortable. Very warm, very soft, but the next size up would cost me fifty more dollars.

Really like the fit, feel, warmth of the jacket. A couple things could be improved though. The inner pocket that's meant for your phone needs to be deeper. Phone fits in there fine, but if you don't zip the pocket it can fall out if you need down to grab a fish, make sure you zip it every time. Would also like the 2 front pockets to be pleated for a little extra capacity. Love the jacket though.

I outgrew my last predator jacket from my youth. Shoulders got too tight and I gained a lot of weight. The Xl men’s size fits perfect over a flotation vest on me and it’s WARM. Not too warm though, I’ve never broke a sweat wearing my last one and it had the same weight of insulation. I just wear base layers under it and I’m good. I also have the predator bibs and the combo has in fact saved my life with the surefloat tech. I didn’t have my life vest on at the time and it was Late ice and broke through luckily I had ice picks around my neck so I clawed my way back on to better ice. Drains pretty quickly too, although my base layers were soaked. Now I wear a flotation vest.

This is a very well made coat that will keep you warm in even the coldest of conditions. The design is well done and the fit is excellent. If you want to keep warm in very cold weather, then this is for you. It is not well suited for for anything above about 40F.
